I wanted TP HD saved for NX's launch so Zelda U can stay only on Wii U. It also helps with timing, etc. TP HD must do alot just for me even to consider buying it.
Nobody's forgotten Zelda U, we just got tired of baselessly speculating for months on end. With no new info, leaks or even credible rumors, what is there to talk about?
Don't worry, Zelda U. While everyone else is getting hyped over TP HD... I'll remain more hype for Zelda U. I'll continue to carry the torch for the game that is never forgotten but not seen! I'm staying here! There's only one true hype train for Zelda!
I think most people are more hyped for Zelda U. It just seems like we might get Twilight Princess first!
Well of course we're more hyped for Zelda U—it's new; unspoilt by memory.
Granted, given that Zelda U is more open world bandwagon trash, and considering what Skyward Sword was, I've little doubt that when all is said and done I'll still like Twilight Princess more.

??? Give Zelda U a chance. Just because its "open world" doesn't mean it wont be amazing. But that's why I'm not in the TP HD thread as much... I've already experienced it. It's done. It's gonna take huge big things for Nintendo to get me to buy it again. IRONICALLY, speculating and daydreaming for Zelda U sounds wayyy more fun to me. I love TP but its over for that game.

Nope, just inevitably less amazing than what has come before in less troubled portions of Nintendo's history.
Who knows, maybe Zelda U will be that one open world game that doesn't bore me. Xenoblade wasn't really open world, in the sense that new areas were gated behind main story progress, but it succeeded in making me want to explore the world. Better sense of wonder and more varied, interesting designs I guess.
Still got my little brother to explore the Eryth Sea for me while I ate a sandwich and took a nap tho.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
That's the beauty of being a mutli-platform gamer. I don't hold Zelda to this crazy high standard anymore. If Zelda U struggles in any category then I'm sure Aonuma will attempt to address it in some fashion in Zelda NX. HOWEVER... just because Zelda U isn't on my top 5 most anticipated list doesn't mean I don't care for it greatly. I'm still carrying the torch for this game. Zelda U hype isn't dead. Zelda U is doing that classic hype method where everybody wants to see it because they can't help but think about it. Sure a new Zelda U trailer with a freaking real name title would be nice. It's coming someday. Enjoy other games until Zelda U is ready.

My thoughts exactly, which is why I'd rather see a remake for it on the NX.
I'm still hyped for Zelda U, but the lack of information is causing that train to slow down a little.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)

thinking back over the last 50 pages..... there really isn't a lot talked about. everyone goes round in circles and hypes each other up and then gets mad at nintendo who haven't even done anything but put a teaser trailer out, lol.
for me, zelda hasn't been great since the wind waker so i don't understand why kids can get hyped for a 2016 zelda. just let them make it and hope they can recapture the magic of the series. stop whining about it every day in this thread guys! it will only kill your own hype and other fans hype. treat it with the same respect as the new star fox, everyone is letting that get developed so they can return the series to fun and glory, let them do the same with zelda.

I'm not multiplatform per say, but I do enjoy enough series to not solely rely on Zelda. However, with that said, I haven't really been super excited for a new Zelda since Skyward Sword. Heck, including remakes, Majora's Mask 3D is the only game in years I was hyped about in the series.
Current games: Everything on Switch
Switch Friend Code: SW-5075-7879-0008 | My Nintendo: LzWinky
Back to carrying the torch for Zelda U... I wanna see more charming stuff. Like Link burping after drinking Lon Lon Milk. Or Link rolling his eyes at a enemy he's faced before. Too much potential there.

Reminds me of the "charm" found in this video:
It actually wouldn't be that bad. Zelda (and games in general) could do with better facial animation. It's the kind of silliness I would enjoy, you know, after I've done my typical rage and rioting from not getting a more serious entry.
