@MarioBrickLayer In regards to Spelunky 1+2, since it wasn't shown at LRG's showcase I assume Fangamer has opted to release those games physically. Fez? I haven't a clue. The Touryst? For whatever reason Shin'en haven't released any of their games physically; folks have been waiting for a Fast RMX physical release since the Switch launched. Everhood? Honestly, I think there's a chance Good Shepherd Entertainment will opt to release it physically as they published another Surefire Games game, Black Future '88.

@Magician
Fez feels like an iam8bit release, it's a pretty artsy game.
It would be nice to see any Shin'en games get physical releases, so it'd be interesting to see which physical publisher would pick them up.
Everhood had a soundtrack release through First Press Games, suggesting they might help them with a future physical release.

A Swedish retailer now accepts pre-orders of Shredder’s Revenge from MergeGames and lists the release as Q3 2022. So, it seems the game releases sometime between July-September.
Incidentally, LRG opened their pre-orders for a numbered release on Thursday rather than Friday, since today, June 9th, is Bill and Ted day apparently.
It does make me wonder if there's going to be any surprise pre-orders open on Friday though.
Also, this is the 10,000th post in this thread, woo.
@RupeeClock Beyond the autographed numbered art, the rest of the swag in the Signature Edition version doesn't appear to be worth the asking price. The same goes for the $200 asking price for the LRG version. But then...I've never been a fan of either company's efforts regarding collector editions. No, a standard copy will be sufficient, for me at least.

@RupeeClock Thanks for the info. on the Signature edition. But I will probably stick with LRG’s Classics edition. I quite like the look of the outer case in the shape of a VHS-casette and the extra steel book case included isn’t bad either. But it is annoying the wait has to be 9 months (after the pre-order window closes).
Shredder's Revenge is indeed launching digitally on June 16th.
They also just announced Casey Jones as a playable character, and that the game supports up to 6 players online and local multiplayer. The cover art might actually be updated to reflect this.
Hopefully this'll mean something for announcing physical pre-orders soon too.
@RupeeClock I would have ordered the TMNT special edition from SE if it included a steelbook like LRG...I might just stick with the standard edition, unless the LRG delivery estimate is quite short.
Edit: Turns out LRG pre-orders did indeed go live today. I wonder why they didn't announce it until this minute?
Probably because of the deal with Merge games for the EU territory.
@Ninfan
I haven't heard anything, but it's one of those games that doesn't make sense to give a physical release being that it's a live service game that can't be played offline or single player.
That didn't stop Among Us though.
Busy day today. Severed Steel is being release physically by Merge Games. Willy Jetman is being released physically by BadLand Publishing via Funstock. Preorders for BATS and Bill & Ted's Dubious Collection are live on LRG. Best Buy has new listings for The Courier and No Longer Human via PM Studios. And the NIS Store has opened preorders for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Azure LE.

I would really appreciate some advice from anyone on how to think about my current LRG pre-order situation, since I’m not sure how things will play out:
at the moment my order status for the Doom replacement cart for switch says ”ready” and the game Astalon - Tears of the Earth (standard ed.) is still in production with an end date of 21 July (that is the full 5 months waiting time).
My worry is that if I were to place a pre-order for Shredder’s Revenge Classic ed. today, I would have to wait for the other orders for 9 months as well.
Maybe if I were to place a pre-order for Shredder’s Revenge (which closes on 24 July) between July 21-24 it would then become a separate order from the other two and not shipped together? I’m not sure…
Assuming they're all individual ordered, they should all be shipped to you individually.
LRG doesn't bundle things as they become available together like Amazon's free shipping.
