Hmm, that's a hot take. I'm not sure LRG is all that slow, production wise. Certainly there are worse boutique publishers in terms of turnaround from preorder to shipping product. I have orders placed a year ago with Dispatch Games, First Press, Play-Asia, and iam8bit that have yet to be delivered.

I'd criticize Strictly Limited as well, but they're my favorite in the boutique business, so personal bias.

@Magician First Press is my favorite boutique in terms of the quality that goes into their releases - but it takes a coon's age to receive anything. They had a nice transparency e-mail recently - long but full of detail.

They've appeared on Play-asia as well, but this suggests that Red Art Games really struggle to sell through their stock.

I have heaps of nostalgia for Pokemon Snap.

And there's really nothing else appealing to me at the moment.

SRG are revealing their next release on Friday. My order for CrossCode CE from SLG is preparing to ship. My order for Samurai Shodown Collection from LRG is preparing to ship. And a physical release for Kingdoms of Amalur is locked in for March 16th.

All in all, a pretty good day.

It's remarkable to think that this'll be Super Rare Game's 45th release.
Still, I don't have my hopes up for it as I haven't been excited for an SRG release since the Steamworld games, though I've picked up games since then that have interested me.

oh no back top SRG's annoying guessing games. My copy of CrossCode has been in transit for over 2 months now, SLG really need to up their game when it comes to shipping and handling times..

Modus will be offering a CE for Cris Tales.

But at an msrp of $100 I think it's wildly overpriced for the swag that's inside.

I still wish Modus would do a physical release for Ninjin Clash of Carrots, but it doesn't seem like they will after doing a download code in a box release.

I'm not in a rush to pre-order though because the pattern has been that Nintendo UK Store end up revealing some bonus exclusive items closer to launch, a practice that is pretty annoying when other sites open their orders earlier and often for cheaper.

I'm cutting back physical Switch games, just starting to question the point of having so many games collecting dust on the shelf? Good luck!

And the next Southeast Asian exclusive English release is Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV. This is...what, only the third Koei Tecmo eastern-exclusive physical release to support English? The other two being DoA Extreme 3 and the Atelier Dusk Trilogy. I don't have any experience with the series, but I may have to grab a copy just on general principal. "Vote with your wallet" and all that.

Many of us that collect would have a hard time playing the amount of games we have all the time. Dust is a normal part of the process. Switch is a great system and I plan riding out my collecting until the end of it's cycle.

Finally got a shipping notification for my order of the Ori CE. It's in my state, so it should be in my hands tonight. Looking forward to seeing what all the hullabaloo is about with these games. Maybe a little FNaF after that?
