Did you know that Namco Museum Arcade Pac is up for pre-order?
Just kidding...I saw your post yesterday. Got excited when I heard, but I'll wait on pre-order.

Is resident evil revelaitons 1 anywhere physical? Or is it download only?

Same for the Mega Man collections.

Same for Bayonetta

I refuse to buy any digital games.

RE:Revelations is 1 physical, 1 download code (all regions). Mega Man Legacy is 1 physical, 1 download code (all regions). Mega Man X Legacy is two separate physical releases, but only in Japan. And Bayonetta 1 has a physical release, but only in Japan as a part of the Non-stop Climax edition, which goes for around $250 on eBay due to the low print run of roughly 15k copies.

Ugh, thanks.
Don't these companies like money?

Yeah, this was announced a couple weeks ago during E3. The story got buried because of E3, but I'm also pretty excited about MFL coming to Switch. I've never been much for stimulation sports games. But arcade sports like NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz, NBA Street, etc...love those games.

I know, I hear you. Capcom has made some of the most annoying business decisions in regards to the Switch thus far. From Capcom's point of view, they're maximizing their investment and return dollars by opting to go with these half physical, half digital releases. Squeeze more pennies out of consumers by skimping on boxed retail. But they don't recognize that a fair portion of their customers are eager and would be willing to purchase these games separately.

I understand we're heading towards an all-digital future, but I'd like my last physical collection to be memorable. However, Capcom is making that difficult.

Why the name change, though? 🤷‍♂️

I think EA still owns the rights to use Mutant League Football as a game title.

Hence the change to Mutant Football League.

Speaking of which, Amazon NA has added a page for Mutant Football League, but preorders aren't open yet.

According to Play-Asia’s Facebook page, the second game will soon be announced. It’s technically still the second game because it will ship before Shikhondo does.

This is exactly what is going on, it was stated years ago on their Kickstarter that since EA is refusing to release their game from their vaults they turned to KS and made their spiritual successor.

Which is exciting to me, cause I love the arcade sports titles. The original Mutant League and Sega Soccer Slam remain my top favorites.

...Couldn’t EA sue, though?

In the future, ALL physical releases might be CE with standard being digital. Hold on to your wallet.

You know what would be awesome and I’m shocked is not already a thing (because it would easily sell millions)?

Konami - The NES Collection.

Castlevania, Contra, Ninja Turtles, Jackal, Life Force, Metal Gear, just to name a few...

Too bad Konami sucks now. Hands down, they had some of the greatest NES titles and they always had some of the best music, too.

Buying American games from Play-Asia should be no more problematic than buying Japanese games from them, right?

Buying any games from Play-asia, regardless of Region is trustable.
I had ordered games so many times from Play-asia to be delivered to Indonesia and i got my games in Brand New condition as Always.

In general, the history behind the game is pretty cool. The fact that Howard Lincoln said back in 1993 that this game / games like this would never come to a Nintendo console. Here we are; history in the making.

The CE is pretty nifty and does include some cool stuff, but I’m not even going to attempt to try and get one of those. I’ll probably just go with the standard edition for history’s sake alone.

I like the CE. This is a CE done right, especially considering the game. 25 years old, so do a VHS tapes...awesome (I have a VCR). Sega CD jewelcase? Amazing! This is more worth $70 than the last CE. People have their opinions but I really like this one.

I am happy for you that you see the value in it, I personally am getting Dreamcast jewel case flashbacks... It wasn't pretty.
