@TalonMan @MrCIB Where are we getting this idea that Undertale will be PAL only?

Dunno - but MrCIB is pretty darn good with this stuff (obviously!), so I typically trust his finds... LOL!!!

...anyway - I've just finished researching everything on that list he gave me (the ones I don't already have or just learned about, anyway), so I'm gonna post a follow-up post here in a few minutes because I've got some questions about a few of these games that hopefully MrCIB (or anyone else!!) can help me resolve!

@MrCIB - so, like I just said, I did manage to go through that entire list (sweating bullets as I start adding all of this up!!). I've found almost all of the ones I'm interested in and/or definitely need to add to my collection. There were a few I couldn't find ANYTHING at all on, so when you get a moment (and please, I do NOT expect an immediate answer and for you to prioritize this post - whenever you get around to it, is TOTALLY fine!!!), can you go through this list, let me know if I've identified everything?

I've also included EU prices for each item (their pretty much exclusively from regional Amazon, unless specifically mentioned elsewhere) - if these prices look out of whack, please definitely let me know. A HUMONGOUS thanks in advance!!!!

I can't seem to find ANY links or information for any of these - do you have anything you could send?

  • Aragami Director's Cut
  • Gem Smashers
  • Guardians of The Galaxy
  • Lego Ninjago Movie [Limited Edition]
  • Steep [GERMANY?]
  • Stick It To the Man
  • Undertale - I did find this reddit post, which doesn't sound encouraging: https://www.reddit.com/r/Undertale/comments/83zcox/fangamer_has_no_plans_for_a_switch_physical/

I was able to find all of these - I'm assuming the region I've marked for each, is correct? If the prices seem way off, please definitely let me know if you have a better resource:

  • Let's Sing 10 (with 2 microphones) [SPAIN] - 11/24/2017 (36.90)
  • One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition [UK] - 5/11/2018 (44.99)
  • Rime [Collector's Edition] [SPAIN] - 11/22/2017 (39.95)

  • Super Chariot [UK] - 5/18/2018 (24.99)

Last, but not least, NetherWorld: A pixel love story is a Kickstarter one, right? I have this on my spreadsheet as a pledge releasing 3/2019 - (30.00). This is the correct (and only) one, right??

...again - NO URGENCY for you to dissect all of this. Just please look through it whenever you have some free time. I really do need to get a grip on all of these.

THANKS!!!!!

@MrCIB @TalonMan
I would like to ask a few as well. I'm seeing listings for Runbow and Coma: Recruit. I haven't found any info on them coming to NA yet. Have these been confirmed as well? If these aren't coming to NA, then TalonMan, looks like some more to add to the list.

MrCIB

@hirokun my list is for “currently” listed pre-order games. When a NA listing is discovered then I update it and remove it from my list. I don’t track announcements

Most of the games on my NA Amazon account wish list for pre-orders have gone on sale - pricing similar to Best Buy Gamers Club.

I'll be sticking with BB to get the loyalty reward points.

No problem - I really do appreciate it!! Whenever you get to me, is totally fine...

...btw - while investigating all of this, I also came across another one not on my list (or yours):

  • Dead Cells (signatureeditiongames.com)

Maybe I missed it as a potential North America release, but I can't seem to find it anywhere else other than signature edition...

It's almost always best to go with BB in the end (especially so you can rack up those reward points!) - though I do have a "formula" that I usually go by for my pre-orders.

ALL games get pre-ordered on Amazon first. Since Amazon doesn't charge anything, until the game is ready to ship, there is no harm creating these orders - in fact, I intentionally create all of my pre-orders as individual orders (1 game = 1 order). As a release date approaches, I check the Amazon price before canceling and placing the "real" order at Best Buy (assuming, of course, Best Buy actually has the game available).

Amazon is funny with their pricing - for some reason, some random games have dramatic price cuts over time. And since Amazon has their "pre-order price guarantee", if the price happens to dip while you have it on pre-order, that "lowest price" is locked in.

Take, for instance, Battle Chasers which is just about to release. I pre-ordered this on Amazon back on June 18, 2017 (damn, that game has been listed for a LOOOOONG time!!! LOL!!!!). Anyway - when I checked the invoice for it the other day (as it was on my list and approaching its release date), I noticed that my invoice had it selling for $27.68 (that's with tax and everything included!!!!). That's almost $10 less than I would pay, even with the Best Buy GCU!

Moral of the story - you absolutely CAN NOT go wrong setting all of your pre-orders through Amazon, first! If you decide to go this route, it's obviously SUPER critical that you maintain your own personal list so that you can keep track of release dates (and avoid having Amazon ship something out that you forgot was pre-ordered on BestBuy or somewhere else).

This doesn't happen all the time, but it's ABSOLUTELY happened on more than one occasion - and when it comes to such an expensive hobby, EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR counts!!!

@TalonMan I check the Amazon pricing daily and skip pre-ordering, although that isn't a bad idea. The loyalty rewards are what draw me over to BB with the GCU.

You can't lose with pre-ordering on Amazon - again, so long as you keep track of what's releasing when and cancel your pre-order in time. That example I gave is just the latest time that it's happened, where the price had dropped down and then gone back up - but because I had the pre-order, I was guaranteed the lowest price. It doesn't happen ALL the time, but it happens often enough that it's totally worth the few seconds it takes to put a pre-order in, for free... ...and $10 is a good little chunk of change to save!!

Since it's being published by Merge Games it has an excellent chance of showing up on Amazon NA fairly soon.

With all these great Switch games coming out all the time now (busy summer!) I would be afraid I would forget to cancel my Amazon pre-order and also order from BB. Not the worst thing to end up with a game sealed and a game to play though!

@MrCIB looking over your PAL list again, where did you find Tiny Troopers and Urban Trial Underground for pre-order / sale? I looked at shop4megastore and Play-Asia but didn't see either listed... Amazon UK?

Since I had issues completing an oder through shop4megastore via Paypal, I had to go through eBay UK and find a seller willing to ship worldwide.

Beyblade for switch hitting jp shelves in oct..

Nice. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it has partial or full English support. We're on an awful streak of good Japan-only physical releases getting zero English support. The Snack World, Naruto UNS, SD Gundam G Generation, etc.

LRG confirms Pixel Junk Monsters for upcoming release..

Which is awesome! Of all the games LRG has announced for Switch thus far, I'd argue Pixel Junk Monsters has been the best. Just a fantastic tower defense game. This will be the LE I'll pay extra for.

Another thing you can do (if you're not tracking things as obsessively as I am), is use a credit card that you KNOW won't have enough credit available. If you forget, Amazon will simply try the card and tell you that they couldn't process the order... ...these are all the tricks of the trade I use, to try and save as much money on every new game I purchase!! LOL!!!
