Also just a heads up for those that haven’t purchased from Play Asia. They do not immediately charge for preorders, so you can secure a copy of Owlboy and not worry about paying for it until it comes out.

Definitely not Night Trap. They tweeted a couple of hours ago Night Trap will be a summer release.
"We revealed today on our stream that our Night Trap Switch release will include the English, French, and Japanese VO. This is the first time the Japanese VO has been included in a Western release. Preorders will open this Summer - stay tuned for details."
@hirokun where did you see the mention of "Aero"? Not familiar with that title either...
Their support emailed me this themselves so its their legit thingie. I'm thinking it might be a code name perhaps. But I'll feel cool if I'm right.
Lol, niice. Wonder if that's a code name or an actual game I've just never heard of
I am thinking that "Aero" is suppose to be Aaero. On the calendar only the 2 games are listed( Ace of Seafood and Aero), while on LRG they say 3 are dropping Friday. (Ace of Seafood, Aaero and surprise game.) Just my 2 cents tho.

I just got the email about Owlboy. It says that Play Asia will not be the only distributor for the limited edition, so if you miss your chance with Play Asia, chances are another will pop up soon.
I can’t decide if I want to wait for this other seller. $17 for economy shipping is brutal! Also, this is definitely the NTSC release, correct?
@SpaceAce13 I know what you mean! I hesitated, but the order has been placed and they don’t allow cancelling pre-orders, so I’m stuck.
If it hits Amazon in the US I’ll be annoyed, but at least I’m getting one for sure.
If you miss it all together you may look at paying more than the $17 shipping cost from 3rd parties, though. It’s a gamble, but I jumped on it while I had the chance.

I just noticed that, which is great!
Did I do something wrong? I just pre-ordered one and the payment came out immediately
You might also want to take into consideration that we don’t know the exact number of the 6,000 total copies that Play Asia is selling off, so who’s to say that if another retailer ends up selling the LE, will it sell off even faster once all of Play Asia’s copies are reserved?
Also take this with a grain of salt, as this is only coming from my experience with Play Asia and may not be the same for everyone, but I frequently import from their website, and while I do agree that the shipping cost is a little steep, I have never had an issue with my stuff arriving in bad condition. And if I do remember correctly, the reason for the high shipping cost is that it scales with what you are buying.
(Ex: I just put the standard Owlboy in the cart and went to checkout, economy shipping was $8)
As far as being charged right now, I don’t do PayPal unless I need to, so it may be that since you went through using PayPal, you were charged immediately.
I've only had a few problems with Play Asia, my order was 3 weeks late and was completely ruined. They were decent about it but I didn't get my money back sadly
My other experiences have been fine though, I was probably just unlucky.
@Darkfenrir this is awesome! Dead Cells and Moonlighter are two of my most anticipated games coming out and they’re both getting physical releases. It’s a good time to be a collector!

@RueDaydreamer regular owlboy for $8 is still steep IMO for PA. Its smaller than bayonetta non stop climax and i got that shipped economy for less than that

A small price to pay for my things to be sent to me with no damage.
got my NA owlboy, thanks lads, you saved me. Yeah the biggest reason I tend not to use play asia if I can help it, is soley their shipping costs. They don't give you options for cheaper shipping either, so it takes control out of our hands. In this case I'd like to pay for good shipping, but with a standard game all I'd want is the bare minimum, jewel cases in the shrink wrap in a bubble mailer is more than enough for standard releases. Oh well. I got owlboy locked down and I am not letting go.
