@Zuljaras Do you think this release will be, effectively, the feature-complete one (if not the final edition for the remainder of this decade)? After ultimately deciding I wanted to try this game (after two playthroughs of the demo), I've held off on Blasphemous for many years, on account of the "salami tactics" these publishers use...

@CANOEberry Yes, that has to be the final physical release of the game because the last DLC (Wounds of Eventide) is ending at the start of the 2nd game.

Now they are focusing on the DLCs for Blasphemous 2 I think they have one more planned for it.

Of Blasphemous 1 I have the LRG release, the Deluxe edition that has all content EXCLUDING Wounds of Eventide ... and now I must have this one

Turns out Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is getting a true Switch 2 physical but sadly it's a LRG numbered release.

Strictly Limited actually did it! I received my Ray’z Arcade Chronology (regular edition) today! As of July 30th it would have been exactly 4 years since I ordered it, so they beat the clock. 😁

I did get some communication from them over the years and never lost hope that they would follow through eventually, though I had moments of strong doubts. It’ll be nice to check this, my oldest unfulfilled preorder, off of my spreadsheet.
Next, SLG has to work on Eschatos and Steel Empire Chronicles for us.

I got my Scott Pilgrim EX deluxe edition today, too, which was another awesome surprise. It comes in a big, like NeoGeo-sized clamshell case, with nice hand drawn art. A couple other LRG preorders from last year accompanied. So today was an epic haul!
I’m glad I’ve got some time off of work coming up. 😅

You stuck it out longer than I did. I cancelled my preorder last year and opted for a Japanese copy.

@Zuljaras I've had bad experiences with ESRB versions of games like them corrupting memory cards so even though Switch/Switch 2 are region free, I skip the physical if I can't get a PEGI version. LRG numbered releases are all ESRB versions.

Different region cartridges should be a complete non-issue here, the physical media all comes from the same manufacturing facility regardless of what territory it's destined for.
The title software on the game card can even be territory agnostic or adaptive, LRG's Tomba! releases will show up as "Tombi!" when inserted into a European Switch system.

I think it's probably more likely that you got unlucky with your microSD cards? Maybe they were faulty or counterfeit.

I got no communication at all. (I didn't ask about it, though). I didn't even get an e-mail that my order was sent. The package came completely out of left field. Even in their webpage, the game is still listed in the "Preparing Production" section.

On a different note, I love Sony for doing to no physicals, because so many games now are going against them and celebrating physicals its great for us physical collectors

Hmm, AmazonNA cancelled my preorder for R-Type Dimensions III.

I heard there was a petition signed by thousand people to stop killing physical games against Sony decision.

@Magician That is strange, Amazon UK still has it for pre-order, but the release has changed to 31 December 26, which to me seems like a place holder date

Strictly Limited Games' site still lists an August 11th release date for their Switch 1/2 releases of R-Type Dimensions III, and no mention on their socials about another delay or anything (since August 11th itself is a delayed release).
It would not surprise me if they have delayed printing the game cards so they can get an improvement update on there, since the game launched in a pretty sorry state.
