Smyths has put up the preorder for Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, both the already announced standard edition and a deluxe edition that hasn't officially been announced yet:
@Paraka Preorders for the physical Soul Reaver collection went live back in February, it was originally scheduled for release in June but got delayed to July 11th.
@Paraka Soul Reaver Remastered has been on Amazon UK for a while, I pre-ordered it on 7 February, the release has since been put back to 17 July: https://amzn.eu/d/0WXepA5

LRG are opening preorders for Award Winning Indie Gems 4-in-1. Endling already had a physical release prior to this release. I look at the aggregate score for the other games...7, 7, 6. Hmm, I assume the awards were for artistic design.
I'm glad it's a distribution release and not a numbered release.
Skip.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,473 games (as of July 4th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 2 games (as of June 9th, 2025)
@Magician@RupeeClock - I will say, this release makes me suspect that LRG (at least) will consider compilation releases to pad the 70+ price tag. Provided that the only option NS2 even has is the 64gb cart.
Would make the price .ore reasonable to swallow if I can get a collection of indies like the 3D Platformer Collection that was released in Japan with three different company's games.
@Paraka
This is probably also why Switch 2 Editions will probably be a lot more viable for publishers, since there's a need to include the data for both the Switch 1 title and the upgraded Switch 2 title.
You get to sell a product with the widest reach and little compromise.
I have a hunch that the four individual "Indie Gems" don't take up more than 16GB though, but that could be checked easily enough.
@RupeeClock - I am not talking indie gems, but the idea as a whole could get publishers to consider the steeper tag. A multi-version is one way, as you pointed out, but also, if someone like Randy -COULD- do, make a compilation of Borderlands and Bioshock complete on their carts this time as well. Something the purposely chose 8gb to skirt the responsibility onto the customer.
But that also means people like Acclaim returning, rebooting their franchises with some classics collection could also be beneficial.
@Paraka
Of course, this is much what SEGA did with some multi-title retail releases for Switch 1.
Sonic Mania (without Plus), Puyo Puyo Tetris, Sonic Forces, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and Team Sonic Racing were given multiple combinations of 2-in-1 retail releases.
It's something they had to do to maintain value as they're prone to heavily discounting the digital games pretty frequently.
There's actually a ton of Sonic games on Switch 1, that could make for an attractive Switch 2 Edition multi-cart release, if it were to include the catalogue of Mania, Forces, Colors Ultimate, Team Racing, Frontiers, Superstars, Origins, and Shadow Generations.
But that also means people like Acclaim returning, rebooting their franchises with some classics collection could also be beneficial.
I had to chuckle at that. I'm not sure Acclaim own a worthwhile property. Through their history they did mostly licensed stuff. But unlike LJN or Outright Games, at least Acclaim's licensed stuff was...good.
NBA Jam, All-Star Baseball, Turok, various Wrestling games, South Park, Burnout, Shadow Man...all not owned by Acclaim.
I think they still own Vexx and Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance? Maybe. Not too sure.
@RupeeClock - Sonic Superstars/Sonic Generations would make an attractive combo pack with the two more loved versions of Sonic in one.
Sadly, SEGA coukd have done any of that with what they had released, hopefully VGP had that previous conversation with SEGA.
@Magician - Acclaim was just the first idea in my head, recently saw they returned. Another decent example is Interplay and bring out a "Interplay Golden Era" release with added Clayfighter Sculptor's Cut.
Pretty sure that alone would be worth 90 bucks (since SC is over a grand just the cart alone).
@Paraka
As a publisher, their current position is likely to try and maintain the highest value in the launch period, and think about sales and bundles at a later time when manufacturing costs come down and sales slow, or just fall back on LRG or Pix'n Love Publishing to do a one-time true physical print run.
I think what the big publishers love about LRG, as it lets them satisfy die-hard collectors, and those physical sales don't threaten the other options because limited-print releases tend to maintain a high value that both enables successful initial sales, and discourages grey market sales.
I do hope that we see a reduction in Game-Key releases for Switch 2, as time passes and the flash storage technology becomes more affordable to produce (as it always has year on year).
I'm also expecting there's going to be a pretty hard push back on Game-Key since it offers no advantage over digital as it's a less convenient format, and has to compete with a digital sales economy where there's never a shortage of high value games on discount.
