Since around a month or so i am abroad in Norway and i will be till November. However, on the public network here i have a NAT Type D, this means that something is restricting access to certain games. I can play Fortnite, Rocket League, Arena of Valor and Paladins just fine for some reason, however, anything else that seems to use peer-to-peer networking or just a different port, doesn't
So i can't play Splatoon 2, Mario Kart, Morphies Law and the NES games online. This also makes it so i dont want to buy new games since i don't know whether they will work or not.
What have i tried?
Proxy in the Network settings
VPN Hotspot on laptop which made the games work but introduced some extra lag and disconnected from time to time, pretty much unplayable
Trying to portforward which of course didnt work
