My character is level 61. How long does it takes to level up to level 99?

@LinkxPeach how long did it take you to get to level 61 ?

@LinkxPeach Why? Do you want to get a star next to your rank number for the 100+ ranks? Or just curious?

I was tempted to say, your current hours may be the halfway point. But, I don't know. I've spent so much time playing modes that don't rank you up - single player, Salmon Run, fooling around in testing room, and I barely ever used Crust Sean food tickets to boost xp gains. If you only played to rank up, maybe 100-150 hours? But I may be way off. My estimate could be trash.😉 (I think I'm at level 103.)

Obviously, if you use Crusty Sean food tickets you can rank up faster.

What do you think @BenAV? LinkxPeach is wondering about how many hours it could take to go from level 61 to 99 in Splatoon 2.

Quick question about Splatoon 2.
Is the Story Mode really looks like Ratchet & Clank gameplay style so i can ignore the Turf War mode since i have no interest at all in Online Battle ?

Well, from level 50-61 about 2 weeks for 60 hours using EXP boosting tickets. Just an assumption.

Are you sure it will take that long?

@Anti-Matter Sure, you can get Splatoon 2 just for for the single player story mode, and ignore the online battles. Ignoring online play won't put you at any disadvantage for story mode.

If you like & beat the story, then I'd recommend getting the Octo Expansion DLC, it's basically a whole other single player game. But it is a bit tougher. It's meant to be played after you complete the standard game's story mode.

Ah... Got it. 😯
I remembered when i saw Splatoon 3 trailer, i was intrigued a bit by Bow weapon as it was my favorite long range weapon in video games. Even i assigned myself as Ranger / Archer in Portal Knights.

So for a whole time i saw a completely wrong perception of Splatoon as being a competitive online battle game, after you said the Solo Mode was like Ratchet & Clank style, i want to observe the gameplay of Splatoon 2 and will observe more about Splatoon 3.
I got me some hype with Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart on PS5 after the game is out.

Another question again.
Can i use different weapons during Solo Mode ? (Paint Roll, Umbrella, Grenade, etc)

@LinkxPeach I would say most people with rank 99 may have 500-1000 hours. But that's a wide range because it's tough to know how much they play single player/salmon run. I'm level 103 with 1200 hours. Half of that could be single player/salmon run/my nieces screwing around.

@LinkxPeach Well I have a friend that plays the game daily and they haven't made it yet, plus It takes about 13 hours for just 4 levels If I remember, But I could be wrong.

Okay, I really don’t see the point of rank 99.

@WoomyNNYes Gee, I dunno. A lot, haha. Every level after 50 is the same so I guess easiest way to get a rough idea would be to time roughly how long one full level takes then just multiply that. As you said it also depends on whether or not you're using food tickets. Playing Ranked over Turf War would probably be faster too I'd imagine if you can win frequently enough. In my 1000+ hours I've reached 99 then gotten back up to 53* but I've also spent a fair bit of time playing Salmon Run and I've played mostly Turf War besides that.

@Anti-Matter What happened to all the talk from you about how Splatoon is too violent and it needs to be banned?

@jump
I was thinking about the Solo Mode from Splatoon 2 & 3 that probably have same vibes as Ratchet & Clank style.
I have played a lot Ratchet & Clank games during year 2020 so i think i will get to used it if i consider Splatoon as a Solo Action Shooter game.

Recently, I had a little bit curiosity after Splatoon 3 get announced and I saw the Inkling girl grab her weapon Bow, my curiosity told me that there was some potential about using traditional weapon in action game as I have played a lot Portal Knights with job Ranger and used Bow.
So that motivated me to ask about Solo Mode from Splatoon games.
But I still have to think carefully and need more deliberation when Splatoon 3 already released, considering the impact that I will get by playing Splatoon 3, considering my body reaction to get involved in such shooter game like that without suddenly have guilty feeling after playing, a lot of things to be deliberated.

Recently I have allowed My Sims Sky Heroes PS3, Rabbids games on Wii with shooting the Rabbids section with plunge, I have played other games that have some shooting aspect and still safe for kids. Considering from my experiences on other games I have played, I tried to getting along with more different games but still following my gaming rules. I have loosen a bit some of my gaming restrictions for certain games but they have to pass my age rating checking first. Don't forget, I have some hype with Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PS5 recently.
