@Octane Yeah, it resets each time Salmon Run opens. You keep your rank, but not where you were within it. After 1200 points in a session it only gives you gear, and takes twice as many points to do so, so that discourages playing it too much.
@Octane You gotta go to your profile in the Switch‘s home menu and „add friend“, then „Search with Friend Code“. Said code is in Tsurii‘s signature. Hit it in without the SW in front and it‘ll send Tsurii a friend request.

@Tsurii I've never actually seen Murch manage to get the exact gear I ordered, no matter what it was. I assumed it was just his MO to always say, " I couldn't find EXACTLY wbat you wanted".

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
@JasmineDragon I dunno about SplatNet stuff, but for orders from the square, his chance of getting multiple slots right is pretty low (and when he does the price is quite high). Funnily enough, when he gets an order perfect he says "I amaze myself sometimes". Not very often, bro.
@Zyrac@GoldenGamer88@Tsurii Sorry guys, something came up and kept me busy, maybe next time.
Only got to play a couple of matches to reach Defender just before the Splatfest ended.
At least there weren't so many errors like last night (where I barely saw the inside of a lobby).
But to look on the bright side: This version of Shifty station was really nice. And I got 9 nine sea snails. ^^
Still haven't played Snapper Canal yet.
@Maxz: IIRC you can see your Splatfest power in the during the Splatfest. @JasmineDragon Oh I already had Murch manage to get the exact gear, but just as with Spyke before, it just rarely happens.
BTW the unofficial patch notes are confirming what everyone expected regarding the Baller.
So this was the first Splatoon 2 splatfest I didn't finish as king. Maybe it's just because I was occupied otherwise or maybe it was because of the theme, but I just didn't feel the Splatfest 'vibe' this time around.
It's also the first time I'd prefer the Halloween version of anything.
@Grumblevolcano Oh man, I'm so playing that, just because it's funny. I don't think it's as bad as it sounds, mind you, although it certainly isn't good. I don't like blasters normally but they're okay in Salmon Run.
I'm team werewolf, and I'm just trying to ignore all the furries on my team. Also, to anyone who is thinking about team vampire, just remember that you can never have garlic bread if you're a vampire. Just keep that in mind.

@Tsurii Flying dudes that shoot Tenta Missiles and are killed by throwing bombs into the launchers. Everyone hates them.
@BLP_Software You can actually kill them quite fast if you're good. It's when you're busy being swarmed by other stuff that they become a problem. It is a bit questionable that they're the only thing you can't kill with normal fire.
Anyway, this is starting to go better now. Feels like I'm getting pretty good teammates, possibly because they're the only ones brave enough to try this.
This actually wound up being a good Salmon Run session after the rough start. Reached 1200 points with 160 on the rank meter and only two losses, I think. Even beat a Griller wave near the end. The game tried really hard to kill us after that, but nuh-uh. Blasters confirmed not bad.
I've been playing the Bamboozler as more of a support weapon, leveraging it's superior-for-a-charger inking capabilities to build special quickly and fire many missiles. I try to avoid direct conflict, but when I do need to fight I'll throw a curling bomb to try and soften them up for quick splat.
Alone, a force. Together, a force of nature.
