@Zyrac It's really not an issue. I'm certain @Tsurii and I will still get to King/Queen respectively. Hope we'll manage to get together next Splatfest, maybe with a set time or so.

@Zyrac Aah man, sorry. I was in a desperate panic to try and get to Queen, and didn't check the interewebs beforehand. Only made it to 96/99 Champion though.
I need to be better organised for the next Fest!
Anyway, the important thing is that I flushed most of those back roll heathens where the sun don't shine.
@Tsurii Ah man, so close! When do you get 7 points for a Victory and when 6, anyway? It can‘t depend on whether you face your own team versus facing the opposition as I got to Front Roll Queen (again, a lovely title, Queen of all forward hanged toilet paper) defeating my own team and got 7 points for victory and 2 for the turf inked.

What a comedy of errors. Yes, let us be better organised next time.
The points you get for winning depend on the opposing team's power, I think. Or it's something to do with power, at least. Speaking of which, my power ultimately dropped over 400 points from where it started. Blech.
Before anyone asks, results are announced at the start of the next rotation.
@Tsurii I've read it depends on your team members and splatfest power, if you have the lowest splatfest power of your team, you get 4, the highest gets 7.
@Octane Ah that makes sense. That also means that my teammates must really suck for me to get 7 points every time (every time I look at the results anyway). Didn’t even know you could get less than 6 lol.
@Zyrac I don't know, but that's what I read on Reddit. Remember, they mentioned splatfest power, not necessarily whether you did well that particular match or not. Although I'm sure that influences you splatfest power in some way.
It's statistically absurd to think you could have the highest or second-highest power on your team in every match.
I had a look on Inkipedia and while it doesn't say how it works in this game, it does say it simply depended on your own power in the first game. I would imagine it's essentially the same here.
Edit: Actually it does say there was also an extra two-point bonus for the player with the highest power, but we'd definitely have noticed if that were still the case.
Yay, I won twice in a row! That must be a new personal record (speaking of records, I managed to get 76 Golden Eggs during Salmon Run today, which is another personal record). Hope I can actually enjoy a Splatfest next time instead of worrying about NAT types and the like. I also liked this Splatfest‘s Shifty Station quite a lot, it‘s probably my second favorite with the first being my favorite. Seen way too many Splatling users this time around as well, which have pretty much become to me what Chargers were in Splatoon 1: Annoying, I can‘t use them, I can‘t battle against them and get splatted constantly by them. I mean, Chargers you can avoid but Splatlings, when you get a ton of ink shot right at your face? Nah. Sure hope we‘ll manage to get together to play some matches next time.

Some of Off The Hook's comments on Snapper Canal get pretty meta.
Pearl: "Listen up Marina, because this is SUPER IMPORTANT. Whatever you do, don't eat th"
Marina: "Don't eat what?! Your text box ran out of space, Pearl!"
And another where Marina complains about randoms always charging in one at a time.
Got some questions about Salmon Run, you collect regular eggs and golden eggs, what do they do? In single player they're used to upgrade your gear, but how they are of any use in the regular game? Can you trade them in for rewards?
@Octane Your job score equals 1 point for each golden egg and 1 point for each 200 power eggs, times pay grade. Job score goes towards bonuses, which you can collect from the window outside Grizzco.
