Topic: Right joycon not recognizing it's connected to the console, and right joycon freezing

First Joy-con drift, now this?
Here's what is happening:
My right joy-con isn't recognizing it's connected to the console. This persisted with my different joycon, so I'm suspicious that this is a console issue.
The right joy-con is also freezing but I am pretty sure this is just a Joy-con issue.
Does anyone have a solution for some of these?

@Kxe Nintendo Support is a very good resource. If Nintendo's joy-con troubleshooting directions can't resolve your issue, it likely means a hardware failure, which requires repair or replacement. Search joy-cons on nintendo support, you can filter results with the dropbox for troubleshooting.

I'm pretty sure you'll find what you need if you search, "joy-con not recognized".

Nintendo support's contact page. When they're open, you can call them or use the chat messenger. It's pretty easy to get a nice person on the phone.(easier than most companies)

Someone else asked this really recently. It sounds like it's an issue with the connector within the main console. You can try and clean that with contact cleaner of some kind, or maybe even replace that part.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

@Kxe If you have access to a computer & keyboard, Nintendos chat messenger is an option. I've used it a couple times. You just use the same login for your Nintendo account. Just making sure you noticed that. You can disregard if you were aware of the chat messenger.
