Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

@Grumblevolcano I'm convinced we won't have one before Metroid Dread launches...so maybe we'll have one on the 14th or 21st of October?

6 hours to go. Today is the day.

People seem to think this is some kinda indication of a Direct happening this week. Still don’t think it’s happening.

Maybe, but hardware to support software would usually be part of a larger announcement. Even if it does just end up being a GB controller for GB titles on NSO

It does seems at the least we're getting NSO news before Friday, makes sense as September 25th will be when NSO subscriptions from people who have been subscribed the whole time but used the 1 week trial in the beginning lapses if not renewed (September 18th 2018 NSO launch + 1 week free trial -> September 25th). Might be part of a general Direct but might just be a standalone video where the system, launch lineup, release date and controllers are revealed.

We could get anything this week. Or nothing. My money is in the something happening.

@NintendoByNature Or it could be a Direct that's not even a Direct, plot twist. It turned out that all long that Rosamund Pike faked her murder to frame Ben Affleck. Good one Nintendo, you really got me!

Looks like no Direct this week, NoA's first tweet of the day is more Metroid Dread info:

3pm cometh and 3pm giveth

Sometimes the Direct is announced at 2pm UK time, sometimes it's at 3pm UK time though it's rare that Direct announcement is not NoA's first tweet of the day on the day of a Direct announcement.

This has aged well!!

It's at 8am here which is basically like the worst time for me but oh well I'll manage as always.
