YAAAAAAAY....!!! πππ Alba: A Wildlife Adventure will get physical release on Nintendo Switch ! π
Also, Summer in Mara will get the PAL version with different cover art. π
Thanks to play-asia for providing the upcoming Nintendo Switch games without Nintendo Direct. π
I still feel like everyone is getting hopes up on a Direct happening this month regardless what past years may have done. Would not put it past Nintendo to consider only doing 2 general Directs each year going forward - one to reveal the first half and one to reveal second.

I'm concerned about the prospects of a September Direct, full Nintendo Directs typically happen in the first half of the month and we're now past that point. It's not the end of the world if we don't get one because we still have a lot of upcoming games to be excited for, but no Nintendo Direct in September may be an indication that things are still slow going at Nintendo.
@Bolt_Strike Could still happen any time of this month.. though I'm starting to doubt it. There's also a slight chance that they could do something next month, as I'm pretty sure October Directs have happened before.

There isn't really any need for a Direct this month anyway. We likely know more or less all the major releases for the rest of this year anyway so any big announcements would probably be 2022 releases anyway.
@BenAV That's true. The only games that would even need trailers already got them anyways. Metroid got it's big trailer already, and Pokemon is probably going to get a trailer. SMT does regular trailers on it's own mainly, and they already revealed smaller titles outside of a direct as well.

@BenAV Nintendo Directs have always primarily focused on existing games anyway, so knowing all of the major releases for the fall wouldn't stop them from having a Direct to reveal more information about some of those upcoming games. The potential 2022 releases, especially for a Spring title that we don't currently know about, is probably more along the lines of what people are most anticipating from a potential September Direct.
Personally, I'm most hoping to see the long expected 3D Kirby game to finally be confirmed from around this point. Kirby is usually a Spring release, so this would be about the right time to announce it. Other possibilities could be something like DK, Xenoblade, or a Fire Emblem remake.
@BenAV
Even without Nintendo Direct, there is always some upcoming games has been announced from play-asia and I have interest with some of them.
And I didn't even waiting for typical big games like most peoples here.
@Anti-Matter Yes, but do you really have to compare your case to ours every chance you get? We know you don't like good games, and rather play shovelware, or that you buy from Playasia. You've said the same thing time and time again.

@Bolt_Strike They definitely could do a Direct still and I'm sure we'll see one sooner or later but there's no real pressing need for it to happen now during September specifically. Unless they really want to use the opportunity to pump up Metroid, a Direct in October or even later would be fine.
