Yeah but the fact that they were starting something completely new, as far as we know, probably means it might take a bit longer than their previous few projects.
Xenoblade X took them quite a while after all.
Oh no! Yasunori Mitsuda, composing music for a video game? This is all making me very excited for what's in store. @Slowdive I remember Monolith saying they wanted to focus on the Xenoblade IP, but nonetheless this is very interesting.
But there is the chance that this isn't for a Monolith Soft game, he's also composing the music for Sea of Stars and Inazuma Eleven, and the latter is a Japanese game, so it could be that. Having said that I'm doubtful he'd hire the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra for anything less than a major AAA project so... there's evidence and timing for and against.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Persona 4 Golden
Dragon Quest XI S
F1 23
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
@Slowdive I know, that’s why it points to being a big project. He also worked with the Irish choir Ànuna, so if they have anything to say they haven’t said anything.

@Dezzy Fair enough, I suppose we shall see. Whatever it is, it has my interest.
@TheJGG I could see it being for Xenoblade or the ARPG. Music could be getting completed later in the project than usual given COVID as well... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
