@Slowdive Oh yeah, I sort of remember that. It sucks honestly that he basically was pushed off the internet, since he was one of the best leakers, and was a legitimate one as well. It kind of sucks that if you end up getting one thing wrong, you're instantly discredited, despite the fact that you got so many other things right.

@VoidofLight It’s kinda pathetic, that. I’m mixed, because someone this credible can’t always be right, but at the same time I’d at least like a few surprises.
I don’t remember who exactly said it here but if the 3D All-Stars collection wasn’t leaked it would have been much more warmly recieved.
There has been speculation from people like Nate The Hate and others on the spawn cast etc that the major Zelda game announcements will come after Skyward Sword has been released to protect sales, which sounds like something Nintendo would do!
I'm hoping they announce N64 games for NSO, that could explain the Mario 3D collection decision plus they could tie in the Zelda anniversary by putting Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time on there.
Putting those games on NSO would also explain the reason why the next rumoured Zelda release is a double pack of Windwaker and Twilight Princess rather than a triple pack like Mario.
@Slowdive I think it'll be NSO related. If 3D All Stars and SMB35 doesn't return in some form by May 6th I'd guess the most common investor questions at the investor meeting would be about lost potential of 3D All Stars and how Nintendo expects NSO subscriber numbers to increase when the value of the service is decreasing.
By announcing a NSO overhaul before then investor's questions return to similar questions of past investor meetings like impact of COVID on lineup, what Nintendo's doing to compete against Sony/Microsoft, etc.
Either way it seems to focus around Skyward Sword, a game released ten years ago, remastered with easily the most minimal changes of all the remasters/remakes.
@TheJGG Honestly, Skyward Sword HD is just a disappointment in general. It's literally just a port of the game with high resolutions and that's it. If they priced it cheaper then I'd say that'd be fair, but I don't see why they think 60 dollars is a good price for the game. I know it's an industry standard.. but still.

@VoidofLight I do wish the game was priced better, or bundled with something.
Yesterday I bought the Tomb Raider Ultimate Survival Trilogy; three full Lara Croft games with all DLC, for £17.99. I'll have to pay triple for Skyward Sword. I love the game a lot but I have to draw a line somewhere. They'd better have something good this year.
@dionysos283 That's true, but I don't think that we'll actually get an optional mode, since Bowser's Fury was advertised when the game got revealed, where as Skyward Sword HD isn't really advertising optional content. We know Amiibo will be added, so I feel like if anything, we'll probably get an optional dungeon based on Amiibo. However, the Amiibo could literally just replenish hearts or give you some items to skip ahead in the crafting of shields or potions.

@dionysos283 Yeah the game won't come out until July, so there's still some time for them deciding what new stuff they'll put in. There was a Hero Mode in Wind Waker HD, perhaps they'll put that into Skyward Sword HD as well.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@VoidofLight
My line of thinking is that Nintendo would want to generate some hype around the game shortly before release, like they did with Mario 3D World when they showed what Bowser's Fury is really like. It would have been stupid of them to show everything already in the February Direct. But I could be wrong.
@dionysos283 Again, I wouldn't expect many changes, since well.. Bowser's Fury was teased when the game was announced, and was even a part of the name. If we do get anything different or new, it'll be amiibo support (which has already been confirmed.)

@Slowdive
Ooh, I'm curious what this NSO revamp will look like. Wasn't there a Switch firmware update found on Nintendo servers 3 weeks ago that was never pushed? Maybe it's related to this?
@Magician Yep. It just pains me to see people who're actually going to buy the game and support this practice more than anything.
See, this is a fine comment and all, but you better not be one of those people who also pay 15 bucks for DLC costumes and stupid stuff like that. Now THAT'S what "pains" me and people like me who have watched this hobby just get consumed by that nonsense.
If you're gonna hate pricing structures and make comments like this, you better be consistent. Personally, I'll take an HD remaster of a great, classic game for 60 bucks over constant nickel-and-diming DLC and microtransactions any day. At least when I buy Skyward Sword HD I'll know it's a complete game and not have some dumb 20-dollar DLC "season pass" pressed in my face with content that should have been in the game from the start.
