@LzWinky I'm not mad at all, the switching thing is just what I wanted, I wanted another pokemon trainer switch thing and I got that, I was just talking how good it would for a eggman moveset, I'm a pokemon trainer main so switching on the fly will be no problem for me, also we got a cool anime girl so can you really be mad?
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

The Direct was quite Meh for me.
Only interested by Miitopia HD so far.
The Mario items for ACNH was good.
Mario Golf... I don't know how to say... I'm not even good at playing golf games.
Other games just No for me, though i like the Indigo color with White straps for Joy Cons bundle.
Didn't like the direct that much, honestly. It's really cool that Pyra and Mythra are coming to Smash Ultimate, and there were some noteworthy highlights for me (like Mario Golf: Super Rush and Splatoon 3). But most of it felt like a glorified partner showcase to me.
Nice to see Famicom Detective Club in it, as it's been a Japan-exclusive game for so long, IIRC. Skyward Sword HD is a big maybe for me. I didn't like it on the Wii, because of the controls. Hopefully the right stick controls for the sword work better in practice.
Oh yeah, I'm excited for the Mario stuff in AC:NH. We knew about it already before the direct, but it's cool to see footage of it.
I'm so mad to see Konami keep supporting Switch with their eBaseball game but still NO DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION on Switch ?? 😤
Come, on !
I want to see Dance Dance Revolution A20+ on Nintendo Switch.
Pandemic situation is a perfect timing to release DDR Home version so everybody can play DDR at home safely without going out to Arcade.
I think with all the anger across the internet, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad move if Nintendo did decide to just stop doing Directs and shadow drop trailers like last year. It will certainly make people angry but it can’t be any worse than how people are reacting right now.
I mean, you’d think Nintendo just murdered their first born child or something the way a lot of people online seem to be - and I’m not pointing fingers at this site, it’s more social media that’s in flames.

@FragRed I don't really agree I hated the shadow drop sh** it was really annoying, but with the directs its a whole thing, ya maybe I wont like it but, just thinking by the end of this I might get the game I have been waiting for is a amazing feeling, instead of you know getting spoiled first thing in the morning or skipping ahead for the good stuff.

I enjoyed that quite a lot, but I won't deny that the Splatoon announcement at the end was an anticlimax - probably my least wanted Nintendo announcement at this stage. I needed a hint that there would be more offline/local features, but it just looked like a bunch of new weapons and arenas.
Outer Wilds - don't know anything about this game, but looked interesting.
Fall Guys - seems kinda essential, but is there any offline content?
Triangle Strategy - least enticing title ever, but game looks irresistible.
Mario Golf Super Rush - another lame title, but definitely looks worth getting. Graphics looked a bit 'sensible' to me, I'd like a bit more Mushroom Kingdom goofiness. Rush mode should be fun, but it had better include offline 4-player split screen otherwise I'll barely touch it I suspect.
Skyward Sword HD - seems essential for the improved motion controls and button control offering. Can someone look back through my post history and see how long ago it was that I said SS would be the next Zelda game on Switch?
Hades physical - I've been waiting for that. Glad it's been announced so soon (where's my Cuphead physical?).
Ninja Gaiden collection - if it's all on one cart then I'm in.
Pyra/Mythra - I've not played X2 yet, but I'm a sucka for eye candy, and they is eye candy. Kinda glad Rex didn't get in, his voicework was getting on my nerves.
@Snatcher True, and I agree there’s always a great element of surprise when something you didn’t expect gets announced or they actually do showcase that game you were hoping for. But it just feels like people always expect everything and when it doesn’t happen, they get their pitchforks out and demand it the worst direct ever. Is it really worth it for Nintendo to go through all this every time?
In reality there were first party games revealed for first half, and we know Nintendo puts out the big games during second half because that’s when their biggest sales are. And once again, we don’t know how much 2020 has affected internal software development at Nintendo. It’s obvious it was going to have a knock on effect into this year and maybe beyond.

Oh, I'm also surprised we didn't see Republic Commando or the Great Ace Attorney in this Direct considering the leaks. Maybe they're not ready to be revealed formally yet.
@FragRed If Nintendo plans to talk about BOTW2 in the summer then I can see it being the showcase of an E3-type Direct, and any presentations after will likely depend on the reaction to that or Nintendo's own schedule. If they only plan to talk about BOTW in the end of the year then I think individual announcements are here to stay, and I don't think that's a bad thing.
