I’m not setting predictions, since it’s near impossible to know what Nintendo’s going to do. All I hope is that Animal Crossing New Horizons doesn’t get paid DLC. The game’s still incomplete, so the last thing people need is features to be locked behind a paywall.

I find it really hard to believe we get nothing about BotW2 at all. Given how long it's been, and how long they've been working on it, I'm fairly confident we'll get another short teaser at the very least.
@Dezzy I mean, unless its slated for the first half of 2021, it’s probably not going to get featured here. The showcase says it’s only showing games releasing in the first half of the year.

While the main focus is on released games and games releasing in the first half of the year, that doesn't mean that that's strictly all we'll see. There'll almost certainly be some sort of big announcement at the end and there's a probably a pretty good chance that it won't be something that's releasing early in the year.
I was thinking the Direct closer being Zelda port(s)/remaster(s) and BotW 2 news is saved for around June. They're doing a general Direct now so seems reasonable to think the old trio of January - March, June and September general Directs are back even if the digital E3 2021 doesn't work out.
@ToadBrigade Sorry, but Nintendo is not going to bundle OOT3D, MM3D, WWHD, and TPHD all in one. That would be great, but... this is Nintendo. Nintendo does not behave like other companies where they bundle remasters.
If we get a Zelda collection, I'm going to bet it would be the old Master Collection that was released on GCN back in the day.
It makes sense for them to say it will be 1st half of 2021 only to help manage fans expectations, even if there is something short at the end on BOTW2.
@Grumblevolcano I wonder if they would do something along the lines of a Zelda history show real followed by a couple of announcements of imminent releases - there was speculation about a Zelda collection coming in March? and then it closes with "there will be more on the Zelda celebration through the year..." what do you think?

The only problem with that is 2 of the 4 games in the collection are already available via NSO. I can't see Nintendo including games in a collection which can already be played on the Switch.
That's an interesting thought, but I wonder if that will come after March 31st? If they are going to release the Mario games individually after than, they could also announce Galaxy 2?
My theory is they are going to announce N64 on NSO and don't want to devalue the Mario 35th collection. So N64 online + individual releases of Sunshine + Galaxy + Galaxy 2...if that is the plan, would they announce it now or nearer/after the 31st?
@MarioBrickLayer There is value to owning them as opposed to "renting" them via NSO. But you might be right. IDK. It just seems logical that they're release the Master Collection must like they did Super Mario All-Stars for the 25th Anniversary of Mario. Otherwise, I don't expect any bundle. Unless it's like plain non-HD remaster versions of WW, TP, and Skyward Sword. But even that seems unlikely, given Nintendo will probably port the first two HD remasters to the Switch, and sell them individually for $60.
I suppose what is most likely when I think about is just a Skyward Sword remaster. No bundles.
