Wish it was at a different time as 9am doesn't fit well into my current sleep pattern (going to bed at around 6-7am) but I'm pretty keen. 50 minutes is super long. Hopefully that means a lot of info and not too many overly drawn out segments.
Well I know it’s a long shot only thing I really would want to see is switch pro announced. Other than than apex legends gameplay would be cool. Nothing else I’m expecting. I guess they could surprise me with something. We will see.
@dionysos283 It was likely because of the other platforms as the Crash 4 announcement was for Switch, PS5 and Series X|S. An example of this in the past with other studios was back in September 2018 when an earthquake in Japan delayed a Direct by a week and a lot of the 3rd party announcements in the Direct happened on the original Direct date anyway meaning they weren't surprises when the Direct happened.
@Anti-Matter I wish for Sims 4 on Nintendo Switch too. xD
The Direct will start for me at midnight, but me and my brother waking up past noon and going sleep way past midnight, so cool.

He said we were getting a Zelda Collection in March and BotW2 for Christmas. Super pumped for this. Please can we have Metroid Prime Trilogy now as well?
So since it apparently won't be a Zelda specific Direct, do you guys still think we'll see some Zelda anniversary stuff?
I really hope so!!
50 minutes is a long time! Assuming BOTW 2 is a holiday game and the Tweet is 100% accurate, then maybe we'll see a split announcement? or maybe there won't be any Zelda stuff
Also, if my math is correct, this ends the amount of days between the Directs at a grand total of 531 days. This count excludes Direct Mini's, Partners Showcases, and Directs dedicated to specific games.
The Direct timing couldn't have been better, 3D World took shorter than I expected (I definitely remember it taking longer than a few days when I got it on Wii U back in 2013) so currently waiting for Bravely Default II which is a whole 10 days away.
The Tweet states games already out such as Smash Bros - so I am expecting another fighter to be revealed? What other games already out will be shown and how much will be dedicated? I do feel this puts an end to the Zelda anniversary announcement to some degree.
I am just amazed Nintendo are doing a Direct. Perhaps this is a sign things are moving back to normality in their Japanese studios.

I'm sure there will be some surprises thrown in and not just known games. I'm optimistic since it's just for the first half of the year. So we won't have to wait long for whatever comes.
The downside is I don't believe games like botw 2, mp4, and bayo 3 will be present since they probably aren't first half 2021 games. Hope I'm wrong though
