@dionysos283 Zelda Direct on the 18th seems most likely if any meanwhile I don't think there'll be any Directs with 3rd party content before March.
Pokemon news is guaranteed for next week though TPC doesn't usually announce remakes until like May/June so if there are remakes being released this year I could see next week's game news being smaller scale like more info on New Pokemon Snap, Detective Pikachu, Pokemon Unite, etc.
If the mainline 2021 release is either Sword/Shield DLC or Gen 9, I think info next week would be guaranteed.
@Grumblevolcano I hope you're wrong!! I can't wait to play BOTW 2, but only getting one port or remaster would be a huge disappointment, but I suspect you're right if we don't see something this week.
@dionysos283 An IGN person said says so and as we all know all rumours are 100% true all the time. ;p
Tbh anniversaires are great and all but I'm hoping for more than ports and spin offs from Zelda and Pokemon this year. Ninty can do other games besides those.
Zelda won’t be celebrating it’s anniversary this week in any Direct. Nintendo will happily wait till holidays to do anything Zelda related much like how they did it with Mario. Pokémon is the bigger of the two anniversaries and so the spotlight will be entirely on that franchise for the time being.

Strange that Activision chose not to be part of this Direct and instead dropped a trailer for Crash 4 last week. Maybe this Direct will be first and second party games only? Or maybe Activision thought that their own game would get lost in all these announcements?
Three predictions:
1) Monster Hunter rep for Smash
2) Gnosia is shadowdropped during presentation
3) Zelda HD Remaster collection dated for the first half of the year sometime
