@Dezzy What a socialist nightmare. Trump would have put stopped to that commie rubbish and got rid of the Fire Brigade, Army and all the other socialist programs from the government too!
@FragRed Funny thing is over 50% of UK votes are normally for lefty parties but it gets splintered with SNP in Scotland and Lib Dem & Labour in Enagland and Wales whilst Tory don’t have competition on the right apart from UKIP which was never really a serious party.
The left need a leader to unite them in the Uk. If America can have successful politicians who are celebs like Reagan, Trump and Arnie then the UK should get their equivalents of Adrian Lester, Chantelle from Big Brother and Jason Statham to lead!
@jump The US is a 2 candidate system so the left don’t need to worry about which party they vote for, they just need to worry about who they vote to lead that party. The only other problem they have is when the republicans get someone like Trump who creates a massive voting force.
I agree, here in the U.K. we have this problem that there’s so many parties for the left it is certainly splintered. I’m not sure there’s anyone in politics nowadays that can unite the left and with so many issues that need addressing, no one party seems to have all the answers. Labour are the biggest of the bunch and they are at an all time low, and I’m not seeing the current leader changing that.

@FragRed Hence the need for a new leader, maybe we should aim a bit higher than Chantelle or Jason Statham to lead. What's Hugh Grant, Johnny Vegas and Naomi Campbell upto nowadays, it's about time they gave back to their country!
@jump I think they're too busy making huge amounts of money to care about the country. HughGrant is also a Lib Demo supporter, so basically a party that no one cares about. Let's just get Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie to take office. They hate the Tories as much as any sane person. They would also be good at uniting the nation.

@FragRed That not true, most lefties hates Lib Dems fo teaming up with the Tories.
I like Stephen Fry but he isn't working class enough to swing votes, how about Wayne Rooney, Rita from Corrie or Rab C Nesbitt instead? Although seriously Stormzy, Marcus Rashford, Joanna Lumley and John Boyega have shown to sway public opinion and even the governments in recent years and certainly could do a better job than the American celebs turned politicians,
We should bring back the theocracy under the Roman pontiff, while restoring Aristotelian/Dominican philosophy in regards to moral beliefs . Clearly that's the only right decision.
@BabyYoda71 Nah, there wasn't even a rumour of a leak but people are so desperate they are reading their morning cereal like prophecy revealing tea leaves for a new Direct.
I'm of the opinion that a direct will happen when it happens. I'm not expecting a big direct at all. Partner directs are probably more likely. Nintendo is probably just going to release random trailer drops that are announced a day in advance for their big games this year, which is sad, but it's better than nothing. I feel like this month we'll probably get a Pokemon direct, and nothing else. Mainly because Pokemon directs usually happen in February in accordance to Pokemon Day. People have high hopes that Sinnoh remakes are going to come out this year, but honestly, I wouldn't expect anything from the direct. They might show the titles of those remakes (if they are in-fact real), but other than that, they usually announce remakes a bit later into the year.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
Now that January is over with no real announcements, I am in the firm belief that we will not be getting any new major Nintendo news until Pokemon Day, barring a sudden Smash reveal.
From the start of the year, I was in the mindset that we wouldn't get any major first party announcements for at least the first two months of the year, in a Direct or otherwise. And as I thought, Nintendo spent all of last month, and will spend this month promoting 3D World. This was an inevitability. In short, I do try to heavily regulate my expectations from all the speculation regarding Directs, simply because of how unpredictable Nintendo is. And who knows, maybe the Pokemon Direct won't reveal much. They might spend most of their time on that dead duck of a MOBA that isn't even out yet.
That would be something if Pokemon Day passes and the only news is more info on Pokemon Unite, that reveal was probably the 2nd most negatively received game announcement of last year (1st being GTAV for PS5).
