anyone else tired of the radio silence on new games yet? having a big backlog isnt an excuse anymore
I think Nintendo doesn't have anything, and they're stalling for time. Except for the Wiiu port and MH. But I can't kick their teeth in just yet. The year barely has started.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
First we had Nintendo Directs, then Mini Directs, Partner Showcases and now only trailers.
I still dont understand what they have done all this time.
.....Probably a mix of things; Trying not to die, getting a read on the shifting economic layout, enjoying the same post-holiday lull as others. Ya know, the usual.

@boop23, with 3D World in Feb & Monster Hunter Rise in March (and I can't imagine No More Heroes III will be far behind, given it was originally 2020), they have their big exclusives lined up for the next couple months, and given we didn't know anything about last year's lineup until after Animal Crossing launched in March, it wouldn't exactly be out of character for them to hold off any new exclusive announcements until after MonHun.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
My understanding of that Bowser's Fury trailer is it's 1 big level around the size of an Odyssey kingdom where those cat collectibles are the Bowser's Fury equivalent of moons.
Teaming up with a paintbrush wielding Bowser Jr? It makes sense, I'd suggested that the new character would likely be either Odyssey or Sunshine related just the other day like how Rosalina was Galaxy related, but I didn't even consider him somehow.
Still have so many questions though. Is the new area multiplayer? Is Bowser Jr. controllable? How long is the new content (I'm guessing under an hour from the trailer, maybe 20-30 minutes?). Is Bowser Jr. usable in the main mode?
I think the Bowsers Fury info deconfirms a January direct altogether. Either this is the new way Nintendo will be revealing games from now on or they just had to release this particular info now because the direct won’t be ready until much closer to or after the release of 3D World.
I really don't think we're getting any more directs, and they'll just do this from now on. If we don't see a direct around E3 time, I'm calling them officially dead.
