@Dezzy The person who wrote that description likely doesn’t get paid enough or treated well enough within the job to care, hence why we see things like this happen and why leaks happen so often.

@FragRed I doubt it's some random intern that got to update the site with something big like this. I think it's likely that it was written in advance to be revealed in a Direct, but it got moved and nobody checked the description when they decided to upload it anyway.
@Octane I wasn’t thinking of it being done by an intern, I was talking about their regular full time working staff. Could totally see moral being that bad that they didn’t care to check what they were putting up.

Besides,saying:"It wil be in this week!I know it 100% true" is stupid,couse if you dont have any confirmation,your just theorizing without any purpose.
So relax and wait for big announcement.
But i we all want Direct as quickly as possible,so yeah,i get it.
The cycle of Nintendo directs is that there's always "definitely one this week" each week until it's announced. And usually many weeks pass before we're right lol
They know we generally expect one as soon as the new year comes around. It wouldn't have hurt them to just say something like "It'll be a bit late this year, don't hold your breath" in January.
There's a lot of chatter on Resetera backing up the 18th/26th Direct dates. Zippo has leaked things before and he's all-in on those days. He's also warning that the rumors about 2020 featuring a lot of ports is also true and that some people might be upset by it, along with claiming that the Prime Trilogy has been done for a while and that the new Paper Mario is nearing completion.
