It's weird that they would just kind of tease this and then say "stay tuned" without letting people know when or where to look for more information. Why does Nintendo always have to be so cryptic and keep everything so close to the chest?
@Cubs017 It draws eyes toward them. The Direct drought has caused more and more people to pay close attention to Nintendo news. Nintendo, like it or not, loves to keep fans waiting on the edge of their seat.
1.The Direct will be fulled packed,no other posibilites. We waited so much, and we have a preety long run odf no big games being announce, espcially from Mario
2.Its common for popular things to get lego sets, but its weird that it comes out just in time were we will expect somthing big
(There is always a chance for Lego-themed dock to be release at the same time too)
@WaffleKnight Yeah, the Animal Crossing Direct was announced at 10pm UK time so taking into account US daylight savings that would mean 1pm (for usual 2pm announcements) and 9pm (for 10pm announcements) UK time are the times to look out for during the gap between US daylight savings change and UK daylight savings change.
@mariomaster96 Daylight savings change in the US last weekend (clocks forward an hour) means announcements are now an hour earlier for a few weeks outside the US.
Hmm, if you focus less on the shortly before PAX side and more the specific dates then next week could be Indie World as both 2018 and 2019 had a Nindies Showcase on March 20th. As a result I think if a general Direct isn't announced tomorrow for Thursday, the next general Direct is announced on April 1st to be aired on April 2nd with a Xenoblade teaser released next week or a Indie Nintendo collaboration like Cadence of Hyrule last year is announced with a release date.
Ended up grabbing the season pass for Fractured but Whole in the current Ubisoft sale for a little over $9. Pretty sure that's the deepest discount on it yet.
I own the majority of Ubisoft's catalog on Switch at this point lol
@IceClimbers yea all Ubisoft games were discounted at the highest I've seen except Mario plus rabbids which I would've grabbed under 15. Next time maybe.
This is a big one here... E3 has just been canceled. I guess it’s hard to know how this will effect their “biggest direct” going forward, but I guess the one for the summer will be up in the air now.
@NotTelevision I'd assume they'll air a Direct around the same time. There's no pressure for them to have one prepared for an event; it could happen at any time during the summer.
That said, E3's cancellation slipped out of my radar until now. Wow!
