@Rambler I haven't seen anyone say something as controvisal as that since Hugo Chavez gave a speach at the UN!
Hey that was 2006. In 2020 alone the leader of the free world gave a press conference where he suggested that everyone should inject bleach directly into their veins…
Boy, this talk on the Direct has escalated quickly since I last checked 😳

@WaterKirby1964 I would love Moonview Highway and Koopa Cape from MKWii or Delfino Square and Yoshi Falls from DS.

Anyway. If Mario Kart gets shown in the Nintendo Direct, what courses are you all hoping for to be in Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass?
I personally don't really care with the upcoming new tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC.
That business practice made me disappointed despite I still want to get more new stuffs.

Awesome choices. For Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass, I hope for Wii DK Summit, DS Airship Fortress, Yoshi's Island (Datamined) and GCN Dino Dino Jungle

Wave Race makes a return. Donkey Kong gets an RPG similar to PM, and mario gets a new dungeon crawling spin off. Punch Out!! Makes its grand return. And lastly, atlus announces a new snow board kids that's a switch console exclusive with some mario and sonic characters joining in. All my "never gonna happen" list.
@Hoshiko The situation's rather odd. I don't know about all regions but I know the UK had BotW and Smash Ultimate as £10 more expensive than the normal 1st party Switch price meanwhile the US didn't have it (both were $60 with that also being the normal 1st party Switch price).
I swear, even if TOTK is actually $70 USD, people are still going to buy it…
Hopefully this is all figured out tomorrow.

My gut is telling me to keep my expectations low. I would like to see the last few Wii U games ported to the Switch. Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Yoshi's Woolly World etc. I would also like to see either Gameboy/Gameboy Advance and/or Gamecube games added to NSO. Of course gameplay from Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That would be a 10/10 direct for me. A new Tomodachi Life for the Switch would be a bonus.
Nintendo’s website currently shows TotK as costing 70$. God I hope this is some kind of internal error on their part, no matter how good the game turns out it doesn’t justify such price increase.
With every major retailer taking down their original $60 listing. It's safe to say, this game will be $70 at launch.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4 Remake & Manhunt
Well, tomorrow's Nintendo Direct just got a lot more interesting, didn't it?
Since the retailers seem to be reacting to the news in real time, I'm not going to jump the gun. It's possible an employee accidentally posted the wrong price or something, and that TotK will go up under the normal $59.99 MSRP after the official price is announced and the listing on the eshop goes live
Still put in a quick physical preorder at the old price just in case, of course.
How would this pricing even work with the current voucher program?
EDIT: Metroid Prime 4's Amazon listing was apparently yanked as well.
I was pretty half and half with my predictions for the last Direct so hopefully this one goes even better!

@MsJubilee I wouldn't be surprised. People allowed those prices with Sony and other third parties when they got the same (or higher) sales for a higher price. I was expecting Nintendo to wait for the next console but I guess there isn't anything that says they have to wait either. We'll see.
Fortunatelly, ToTK seems to be priced 70 euros in Europe, same price as BoTW. The price increse of 20 euros in Europe was way worse and didn't get that much traction for some reason. Like, big PS5 games costs 80 euros, that's 20 euros more than PS4 games.
I don't think a 70 price hike is that big for other developers, but nintendo does a lot to make you feel like you are paying more and getting less compared to the competitors. The switch tax, their online service, their lack of first party sales, their limited offerings on virtual console, etc. I've been playing third party PC games a lot more just because they are usually so much cheaper compared to switch and have better online support. A $70 price point would bother me because they know their fan base would pay it regardless. Feels a little like they are taking advantage of their fan base, IMO.
