@RR529 I wouldn't be surprised if Wave 3 is fully announced on the 9th and releasing between late-November / early-December. It's not unheard of for DLC for first party games being announced at the end of these Indie World Showcases. I'm pretty sure a couple of the Smash fighters were announced in this manner.
The Indie World article comments brought up an interesting point, the Advance Wars remake. It would technically fit as The House of the Dead remake was in the April 2021 Indie World (an indie studio remaking a SEGA game) and Advance Wars is similar (an indie studio remaking a Nintendo game). Could be the Switch's December 2022 game.
An Indie World eh? I'm always interested, although not necessarily hyped. I've had my eye on things like Death Trash, Noita, Rogue Legacy 2, and Vampire Survivors with the hope of Switch port announcements. And an update on Outer Wilds would be nice.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,537 games (as of December 22nd, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
If you could have one game appear in the indie presentation, what woud it be?
For me it would be the Lara Croft double pack, which I don't think is really an indie, but similar games (Shredder's Revenge) have been in previous indie presentations...
Well that was a delightful little broadcast! Nothing necessarily wowing, but moreso just a selection of lovely looking games coming out within the next 6 months more or less. Highlight for me was definitely Pepper Grinder though, that looks so, SO fun (and also makes me pine for Drill Dozer to come back).
