I think we could get gb and gbc, but if we do, Nintendo's gonna be Nintendo and not bring gba with it.

I blame Nintendo, after decades of getting kids to save all of these royals in Mario games they never took the time to ask the question SHOULD you save those royals.

Well, we either get BotW 2 news tomorrow, or it's going to be delayed again.

My predictions:

• Direct opens with MK8 Deluxe DLC wave 3
• Other DLC/update announcements later on the Direct include XC3 wave 2, Three Hopes Season Pass, Splatoon 3 update (upcoming maps, gear and weapons), Switch Sports update (Golf), Mario Strikers update 2, maybe Mario Party Superstars DLC
• Reminder headlines for Sparks of Hope and Advance Wars (latter gets a release date)
• Spotlights given to Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem and NSO (maybe also Scarlet/Violet to continue the weekly news streak)
• Prime is a new release headline
• Direct closes with Mario movie and Zelda (WWHD/TPHD + BotW 2)
• The NSO segment includes Rare games like Goldeneye and a new console (e.g. GBA)
• Reminders of various upcoming 3rd party games like Persona 5 Royal, No Man's Sky, Harvestella, etc.
• More 360/PS3 era 3rd party games announced

@Grumblevolcano I'll chuck Half Life onto that list as well. We got Portal in the last Direct (which is in the exact same engine mind you), Half Life has already been ported to consoles before with the old PS3 versions and it would absolutely qualify as a what the f*** announcement (just like Portal back in February). I wouldn't mind being able to play Half Life for the first time on the go, I think that'd be pretty awesome honestly. Now all we need is TF2 and we have the entire Orange Box Trilogy....

Playstation has a state of play tomorrow and they just replied to Nintendo on Twitter with "Big day tomorrow (insert sus eyes emoji)"

@NintendoByNature I believe it would. One game delay isn't bad, but once it hits two or more, I think that's when it starts being referred to as dev hell.

Interestingly Nintendo of Australia doesn't care and has a stream. All a bit odd, and also meaningless given I've always just watched the NoA stream anyways
