Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

@NintendoByNature I just did sadly... I feel kinda bad now, it's the first time I've ever hit that button.

I legit need to get past Chapter 3, I'm almost halfway through.

@NintendoByNature @Kermit1 Thanks for letting me know guys. I'm not currently interested in 3 myself but if I ever get into the series, I'll make sure to ignore people like them (like I've just done now).

@Fizza I think I have a problem looking at spoilers for things... Mainly Pokemon and Splatoon... Pokemon looks amazing I need to wait for the game to come out to be surprised, unlike Legends where I looked at every single leak up until launch. I still enjoyed the game though.

First time I've ever put anybody on ignore on either here, Push Square, or Pure Xbox. Luckily I didn't really read any of that post, but it's still for the best as he's been too lazy to ever use spoiler tags since the game's come out. Even if posting it in this thread was an accident, it still would have been right out there in the XC3 thread. It's not that hard to add them to a post.

Yea not like I didn't like the person's personality or anything, I'll just keep them on ignore til I'm done with XC3.

This guy called 7 out of the 8 tracks coming back in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's 2nd Wave, in addition to predicting both the release date and when the trailer for it would drop about 6 hours beforehand (also doing a similar thing with Bayonetta 3). At the moment he's talking about Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga coming to Switch 'when' GBA comes out on NSO but that one remains to be seen as of now.

Whilst I'm fully aware this could just be a similar case to Waddle Dee Knows where he makes every tweet imaginable and only publicises the ones he gets right, it's still interesting to think about. I'd especially kill for M&L SS to come to Switch, I loved the 3DS remake and would be very interested in playing the original version for the first time.

@Fizza Me and my cousin were quite literally talking about M&L SS yesterday, and how much we missed all those games. I'd love for them to do that.

I wouldn't put any stock into random twitter leakers tbh. They just usually guess often, and people take it at face value. Nintendo youtubers them cover them, lying to their impressionable fanbases, and then it starts the cycle of hatred that hits right at Nintendo instead of their "Credible" leakers which get things wrong on constant.

@VoidofLight God do you remember the Grinch leak for Smash Bros Ultimate? It was bloody World War 3 for a solid month back when that came out. Still can't believe how they managed to fake it though, it was so well done.

@Fizza Yep. I remember that. I also keep thinking about how people actually buy into Samus Hunter somehow, despite that person being an extreme fraud, and the only actual leaks they had were stolen from more prominent leakers or lucky guesses.

@Grumblevolcano... They'd do that though... My mind can't wrap around what the movie could look like, I don't want to be able to see every hair on Mario moustache.

I kind of hope the movie isn't inserted into a direct again tbh. The first trailer should be released out on it's own, instead of being within a presentation that's meant to speak about games, and that people will watch primarily for the game news.

The movie is animated, so if realistic Mario appears, something must have gone very wrong 😅.

Many of the Mario Kart DLC tracks were datamined before release, so it's possible he was just reading the datamined information + making educated guesses.

Having a pretty terrible week so far, but a Direct announcement would sure perk me up.
