@BruceCM Even Rebirth would run on PS4 with enough work and downgrade in graphics. Square is rather blatant in their haste to cease support of the PS4 with all of their AAA releases. Even Endwalker would have skipped PS4 had Yoshi P not given Square the middle finger. Remember Endwalker's announcement when the president of Square told everyone it was going to be console exclusive to PS5 and Yoshi P said nope because of the scarcity of PS5's and the sheer number of PS4 subscribers?

Maybe FFVIIR has a chance of coming to the Switch's successor, but it definitely won't be ported to the current Switch.

@BruceCM I didn't say it'd come to Switch, just that the successor to the Switch would likely be powerful enough to make a port feasible. 😝

They are indeed really terrible games.
I hate the ultra realistic graphics, mature contents from their games.
Even I banned FF XV and FF XVI in my gaming place.
I'm done with Roman number Final Fantasy games after FF XIII on PS3 (it was the worst one I have ever played).

I totally forgot I once bought FFVII Remake ages ago when drunk… like I do most games I buy. I really should download it and try it out. See what the fuss is about.

You tend to form really strong opinions for games that you've never even considered playing.

@Anti-Matter So how can you determine that they're terrible games, then? Just because you personally don't play them doesn't make them bad games objectively. FF is a very well-respected series, and the games are consistently highly-rated. If you don't enjoy the games, that's fine. Maybe just don't become involved in the discussion, then.

I said from beginning.
When I felt completely turned off from first impression, that means I hate the things.
Also, even without playing FF XV, the game itself was already disaster from being incomplete and not even felt like classic Final Fantasy games from the review I heard.
The future of Final Fantasy games just going downhill as the veteran artist left from SquareEnix and SquareEnix keep ruining their Final Fantasy franchises with very controversial business practice (look at Chocobo Racing GP with micro transactions on it) and the ideas to make the games become grittier and more mature, something that made me even hate the franchise.

This FF debate is quite interesting, very two sided yet I side with both arguments being made.

@Kermit1 Yeah I've gotten into about a billion arguments with this guy in the past and it never goes anywhere so I just dropped it lol

@StarPoint I tend to side with him, most of the time. (not all the time, but most, like 3/5 times)
