Since a new Nintendo Direct is almost imminent, I am most likely guessing that Atlus will unveil Switch versions of the Persona games, since they are coming to Xbox
@Fizza it might totally happen In July If it doesnt on the 29th. But probably maybe August. And if not August, 100% Sepetember/december-ish. Just block out your next 6 months. Nintendo is planning SOMETHING says my source in the bathroom who tells me things through our string cup walkie talkies.
@FragRed don't sell yourself short. You said "red" crayons...which, might check out. Nintendos logo is red(and white). Mario's color scheme...red. it's all coming together. Hype responsibly.
You know what I think could make an appearance at Capcom's Showcase later? RE Village DLC. They announced it quietly at their E3 2021 show and haven't made a peep of it since so it could be an option.
My personal predictions though would be another character announced for Street Fighter 6, Sunbreak info, something with Resident Evil and maybe another collection if we're lucky.

This can’t be true. It should be earlier than that. Why would Nintendo have a direct on JUNE 29TH???
For those who don’t know, Nintendo has a shareholder meeting or something on that day. So why the heck would Nintendo announce a direct really close to their shareholder meeting?
Also this person works for PlayStation iirc. So what she said could not be true.
@anoyonmus There's only 2 things I can think of that would logically point at that week:
1. New hardware, Q1 of the current fiscal year ends on June 30th and announcing new hardware on June 29th would minimize Switch sale losses while still satisfying investors for what's coming in the future
2. There's another Fire Emblem game launching by the end of March 2023 and Nintendo wants to wait until Three Hopes has released before announcing more Fire Emblem
With even Atlus abandoning the Switch, I'm leaning towards point 1 being true if any but point 2 would be nice.
Who said Atlus is abandoning the Switch? They are probably gonna put another Persona spin off on Switch cause why the hell not? They might port older SMT games to Switch too. Also the semiconductor and chip shortage is still rampant so it would be dumb for Nintendo to announce new hardware.
Just because mainline Persona isn't coming to Switch, Atlus is abandoning the Switch???? Atlus has other games other than Persona. And they could port those games to Switch.
Just because we aren’t getting mainline Persona on Switch does not mean that Atlus is abandoning the console as a whole. Also remember that Atlus is owned by Sega. So MAYBE and a BIG maybe there is a tiny chance for mainline Persona to come to Switch. Sega themselves aren’t abandoning the Switch and they have games for Switch coming soon.
If mainline Persona were to come to Switch which I kinda doubt, Nintendo would want to announce it at their own direct.
Also Nintendo has a shareholder meeting on that day. So why would a direct happen on that day. More likely is that the direct is before that day. Another likely scenario is that there is no direct.
Regarding new hardware, you are talking about locking out of 100 million base Switch/Lite/OLED users. Nintendo could announce new hardware but it would release next year. And not a direct imo. They would announce it themselves.
