I wouldn't mind some more paid DLC for New Horizons.
I want to play Animal Crossing, but I don't really have anything to do on my island, and they don't make new events anymore.
Also, they should add a new group of villagers that are called Rude Villagers, and they behave like the GameCube games.
Well generally the indie directs have been after PAX and PAX East is in late April this year, so they might just wait (if this does happen, it probably confirms these indie directs are specifically worked on at PAX events to some degree).
@Grumblevolcano Do we usually need to wait this long for an English version of a trailer? I usually recall the translated versions coming out a couple of days or so afterward, if that, even.

I think Nintendo might do like a "6" minute showcase video on Mario Strikers sometime around the launch of the game. After that we are probably getting a June direct.
@NintendoByNature I know, right? It looks insanely fun and also kind of ridiculous......right up my alley......the voice at the end growling "Gunbrella"......deal sealed! Take my money!

@BruceCM just words I hear as I got back into gaming......and don't understand in my old age hahaha.
I gamed as a kid and then returned in small phases (game cube, Wii) but only picked it back up again in the pandemic and it's such a nice escape at the end of the day (I work in a highly technical field and I have two young kids and a farm so gaming is what I relax with). But I admit, I feel a little lost at all the advancements too!

Well, Steam has basically been the platform for PC games for a long time now, @cordova94 .... I'll let someone who uses Discord answer about that, though
@BruceCM I appreciate your reply. I guess it shows that I have never been a PC gamer. I used to play one with hexagons during boring Thermo lectures (while everyone else played World of Warcraft) but when it comes to video games, I've always been a console person.....and always Nintendo because of Mario and Zelda.

Heh, that's OK, @cordova94 .... Since Xbox have been putting their games on PC for awhile & PS are bringing at least some of their previously exclusive games there as well, though, that basically covers both consoles & there's plenty of games that don't get on consoles
How long in advance does Nintendo usually announce their Directs before they happen? I just want to make sure that I will be available to watch this summer's Direct live.

@StarPoint The day before it airs, usually at 3pm UK time. There's 2 main exceptions:
Minis/Partner Showcases - Just shadow dropped, not live
E3 - Usually late April though last year's E3 Direct was announced 13 days before airing
It's all up in the air this year though. They may use the approach for non-E3 general Directs and announce the day before, they may treat June as "E3 month" even with E3's cancellation and announce weeks in advance (Microsoft and a few other companies have already announced June plans as if E3 wasn't cancelled) or they may not have a general Direct at all in June just like 2020.
@Grumblevolcano I really wish that Nintendo would announce all of their events at least a week in advance. Hopefully, they decide to do that with their summer Direct.
