@Giancarlothomaz
That would be awesome!
But to be honest, I don't think so. My feeling is, that we'll hear from Silksong in the summer at the earliest. And also Silksong is too big now for an Indie World (just as Ori and Cuphead). If we hear from it at all this year, it will be at a proper Direct.
@TommyTendo maybe the rumored 2D Donkey Kong developed by Nintendo EPD tokyo? or more information regarding Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3 e Xenoblade Chonicles 3
There has been a lot of small things Nintendo has done in the last week or so. Updating the mobile app, NSO platinum point rewards. I wonder if this is building up to some more substantial changes....

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
Considering how stacked Nintendo's 2022 is thus far I'm hoping they annoy the fandom and skip the usual June-time Direct and just wait until July or August to broadcast their next Direct. Get those thirsty fans frothing at mouth. "We're halfway through June and still no Direct!?" Honestly though, I wonder how casuals will react considering the real possibility of there being no E3 digital event this year.
Probably next Direct isn't until E3 (or Summer if E3 is indeed cancelled, probably some time between May and July). We've already got enough to keep us busy until June, what we need to know now is what's happening for the second half of the year (When does Splatoon 3 and BotW2 release? What are the name, release date, and details on BotW2? What other major titles are planned for the second half of the year?).
@Bolt_Strike I assume Splatoon 3 is a lock for August. We have Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in September. I assume Bayonetta 3 is a lock for October. We have Pokemon V & S in November. And I have serious doubts of BotW 2 releasing in Q3 (October, November, and December). More like Q4 (January, February, and March). A new Fire Emblem release in January or February, followed by a March release for BotW 2 would look really good on Nintendo's bottom line during their annual report.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,537 games (as of December 22nd, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
@Magician I'm not so convinced about that schedule, plus December is still open. I think there's room for at least 1 or maybe even 2 additional games. There's long been rumors about DK, when are we getting that? Metroid Prime Trilogy? Will we finally see Odyssey 2?
They could also give us a sneak peek at some 2023 titles too. Prime 4 in particular looks ready to be reintroduced.
@Bolt_Strike Don't forget we've had the rumors of a Metroid Prime Remake floating around as well. Although insiders insist MP Trilogy Remastered had been completed quite some time ago, I get the feeling we'll receive the Prime Remake before Prime 4.
@Magician Trilogy/Remake. Whatever they're doing with the older Prime games, I think it's coming soon. I'm surprised it wasn't already announced for the Summer during the February Direct in fact.
@Giancarlothomaz@Bolt_Strike@Magician I think we'll see three Metroid releases roughly a year between releases...Dread October 21, Metroid Prime remake October 22 and MP4 October 23
@MarioBrickLayer@Bolt_Strike@Magician I don't think we'll see Prime remaster(s) until the Wii U eshop closes down. Unless it's the full trilogy with full online multiplayer for Prime 2 (able to play with friends and random people) or with Prime games not in the Trilogy (Hunters, Federation Force) included, the announcement would be tainted by "Why is Prime $60 on Switch when Prime Trilogy is $20 on Wii U?".

@Magician And there was a massive backlash that overshadowed the Switch release, similar thing happened with Pikmin 3 Deluxe. 3D World didn't get backlash because it came with Bowser's Fury and Nintendo didn't try to remove the game from the Wii U eshop.
It's why I think there may be a double pack of Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD instead of 1 individually.
And there was a massive backlash that overshadowed the Switch release
If by "massive" you mean "mild" and "overshadowed" you mean "was a relevant discussion for Nintendo fans for a very brief moment", sure.
I'm not saying this downplay it, because I'm annoyed people weren't more annoyed. Even ignoring the price drop, it cost more on Switch than it did day 1 on Wii U. That's complete nonsense.
If there is a Switch 2 (and there probably is) that can display in 4K (and it probably can) then if Nintendo have a Metroid Prime redux in the pipeline (and they probably do) it would make a great showpiece game for that console (alongside normal Switch of course.) It's one of the best games ever made.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
