Topic: Legend of Zelda vs. Xenoblade Chronicles vs. Final Fantasy: Who Do You Think Gonna Win?

Who do you think would win in a battle? This is who I think will win in this order;

Xenoblade Chronicles
Legend of Zelda
Final Fantasy

The reason why I picked this order is because of how much damage most characters from those franchises can do to enemies.

LoZ. Triforce of Power 😂

Each game has their own game mechanics and can look similar but can't be directly compared.

But, in Hyrule Warriors all 29 Zelda characters have lots of HP, good strength, focus spirit, good magic resistances, all characters are balanced to do a lot of dashing and dodge enemies’ attacks.

Zelda (an action/adventure game) versus two game series' consisting of mostly of turn-based rpgs.

What kind of competition is this?

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a masterpiece. It’s the best RPG on the Switch, and one of the best of all time.

That’s based on 30 years of gaming experience.

I agree that is the best RPG on the Switch but it's not a masterpiece IMO.
Even far from one of the best RPGs of all time.
I liked it for some elements such as the combat system but there are so much mess in this game that I highly prefered the first one, the X, Xenosaga and Xenogears much more.
Did you ever played these games ?

This is easy. Final Fantasy wins, by weight of numbers. Fifteen games in the main series, plus umpteen spin-offs - that is a huge cast of heroes. Even if we include all the Xeno games, not just Xenoblade, FF is going to overwhelm them. Gunblades in your face, Rex!

And even if we throw in the baddies, and Link gets Ganondorf on his side, how is anyone going to compete with Kefka?

I'm going to side with The Legend of Zelda #no bias... My only real argument is Fierce Deity Link. Having the power of a dark ancient god he defeated Majora with ease. He could likely do the same to Ganondorf holding the Triforce of Power. I mean the guy wasn't even trying in Majora's Mask! Just a few swings from his sword brought upon his enemies a wave of death and destruction! All ya demi gods got nothing on him!

But wait, wouldn't Luigi win by doing absolutely nothing?

Yeah, but Nintendo says “The Legend Of Zelda is a RPG series.”

I do not think video games can do that. They are pieces of software.

The Monado should win.

And yes, XC2 is a masterpiece.

For me, there is no contest. Xenoblade crushes FF and LoZ easily. While I like both of them, neither comes close to the degree I have loved Xenoblade.

That said, if I play along with your original question, I suspect Zelda would easily win among average Nintendo gamers, and Final Fantasy would win if you polled average gamers overall.

In battle, Xeno would win of course. The gods in all the Xeno games overpower anything in Zelda or Final Fantasy.

Quality, same deal. Xeno overall overtook the old RPG throne Final Fantasy used to have. Although Zelda has been a lot more consistency, the highs in Xeno are higher.
