That first page post with Elder Scrolls VI and Okami 3... makin' me hyperventilate!

I guess I'd add WiLD, that new animal-centric survival game from the Rayman creator, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Vanillaware's new game (mecha = get hype).

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

A follow up to the last Witcher game might be interesting. I've only played the intro to the first one but I've got the first two in my steam list and fully intend to play the third...

...but I hear there's not going to be a Witcher 4? Not sure if that's true and I can't quite believe it, but I've heard that been said. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-05-19-dont-expect-the-...

So...Witcher 4? (although at this point, based on what I've heard, I wouldn't expect the NX to be able to run it). :0/

Wondering if Nintendo might just be faking everyone out and about to launch a super-console..."The Ultra-Nintendo Entertainment System", or "NES Ultra"... NESU Desu! (hoping that's not a really really rude word in Japanese) But, if it's a flop then...potentially...the NESU Desu could be the death of the NES-u.

If Silent Hills was ever properly resurrected as a console exclusive for anything other than the PS4, I would get that console without question. Won't happen, but there you go.

Is it worth pointing out that this post ↑ ...is the seventy first post in the thread?

To be fair, I'm sure he meant: "Said no one who was actually serious about their statement and fully willing to pony up the cash when Nintendo announces Super Mario Bouncy Bros, Pokemon Not X, Blue Shells 9: The Retconning, and possibly Super Cool Paper Story, Bros. will be coming out in the same year, as pointed out in the tentative placeholder pictures they shot with a smartphone camera ever!"

Yeah...right...sure...lets give the guy trying to troll the thread the benefit of the doubt...to be fair.

Nearly all of the games I've posted to this thread are games that I have on my bookcase in one form or another, if I have the available cash I'll buy remakes and (well made) sequels to these in a heart beat, and no, I don't think the quotes in the title makes it some kind of veiled ironic suggestion that we discuss at length the idea of buying a Nintendo console just for a third party game...

...my games are arranged on my bookshelf by genre, not by system. For me what it plays on is secondary to how it plays. I'll take the original Bomberman Kart for the PS2, Pure, ATV Offroad Fury 4, V's ATV, Bang Bang Racing and or ChoroQ HG 3 and/or 4, or Stunt GP over Mariokart 7, 8, or 64 more or less every time...and if Nintendo put their sequels on the NX I'll buy them...and to be honest I'd own the games before the console, just like I have Wii U games on my shelf but no Wii U.

1) Why would you buy the same games twice like that? I mean, yeah, I asked that to the PS4 people, and they still bought Uncharted 4 in droves. It's just...if you want to help out these companies that much without getting anything back...just buy them a gift basket. Have it sent to their studios. Maybe send them an Amazon gift card.

2) I was just looking for an excuse to write some funny parody titles. Maybe get people like you to losen up a bit, maybe untuck their shirts or something. Perhaps even emitting an audible noise that one might interpret as mirthful.

3) That's a whole lot of racing games. I did not know any of those existed until now. Thank you for enriching my life with this new information, kind sir.

Beyond Good and Evil 2.

This was legitimately my answer before the rumors.

Also, more than one person legitimately answered with Klonoa so kudos! Klonoa is awesome and I will hear no word from anyone that says other. Klonoa 2 HD remake would make me so happy.

Other games that would help for me
-Garden Warfare 2
-Doom
-More cool indie games
-a new, good Megaman
-Okami 3
-Shadow of Mordor
-Sonic Mania

I'd buy any console for a sequel to Suikoden, Dark Cloud/Chronicle or a Bomberman revival. Dark Cloud/Chronicle would realistically only appear on PS4. That'd be most likely for Suikoden as well. Though there was a DS game.

Unfortunately Suikoden is owned by Konami, so that doesn't bode well. And so is Bomberman these days.

I desperetly hope that Berserk Muso will be released on NX... I am all Nintendo, and don't own any other consoles... But I am very tempted to get a PS4 only for this game... It supposed to be "not that good", but it's Berserk... And Berserk is like a religion to me lol...

I would also love to see 'Attack on Titan' on NX...

Rhaaaaa... Hard times for Nintendo fans who happen to be manga fans as well lol

the fact that it's supposed to be at least partially portal in Japan makes me think it will get a lot of Japanese stuff more than anything else

also helps Hyrule Warriors was such a notable success for these guys so they'd probably be a bit more willing to put more games on Nintendo

Street Fighter (due to the free network but I know it's sony's baby so...)
Yakuza/RgG as I feel the series could be just as at home on Nintendo's console as sony's (good time for another set of remakes sega!)
Any fighting game franchise- honestly I'm just desperate. FG is my bread and butter genre and it always hurts when a system has a poor line up.
DQ (both mainline and spin off) - Squeenix is too back and forth for me to consider this a given. So I'll believe it when I see it.

After that anything else is gravy. This gen is burning me out a bit and I'm finding myself losing interest in a number of franchises (and their drama). I suppose this is a poor outlook to have considering I'm going back to Nintendo and PC only next gen but I have a backlog that will last me until my 80's so I'm not worried.

Some indie games (Rocket League, Undertale, Rivals of Aether, etc) would certainly make it more lucrative, and a Mega Man and Street Fighter/Tekken would make it so much better. And I've always wanted to try Final Fantasy out, so that would just wrap it up in a nice way.

I think I've logged more hours into Mario Kart 8 than all of my other Wii U games combined. I've definitely played it for longer than the total time I've spent on my Xbox One/PS4 combined lol

That being said, if Nintendo launched the NX with a Mario Kart that was as polished as MK8, had an even more robust online mode (tournaments, etc.), and had a structured DLC plan for years worth of content (they could have done that easily with MK8 - I would have bought 15 more expansion packs for the thing lol) ... I would cry tears of joy and, for the first time, preorder a console.

And could you imagine if they brought back a proper battle mode with small to large arenas, maybe even a few different items, etc. Dearest me. Now I'm all riled up lol

I want Steam to be supported on NX. I know that's not even remotely possible, but that would be awesome.

LEGO Dimensions

While I already own the game on Wii U, it's certainly starting to show the console's age when comparing it to the PS4 version of the game. Character icons are not animated, load times are much longer, and the draw distance is incredibly short. There is also the problem of storage space, as each of this year's new packs will require a minimum of a 1GB download each. Considering that LEGO Dimensions is a 3 year plan, it would make sense for TT Games to release LEGO Dimensions on the NX since it would be released midway through the second year. If, however, the NX is not revealed by the end of this month, I'll be buying myself a PS4 first. While I love Nintendo with all my heart, I need a new console to replace my slowly dying Wii U (I've had it since launch day) and I don't have the faintest idea of what the NX might entail, since all we've heard so far is rumour after rumour. I will, of course, be buying an NX, but if it isn't fully revealed by the end of this month, I don't think I'll be buying it within the launch period, which has always been preferable for me. I enjoy being an early adopter of Nintendo consoles, but if Nintendo won't inform us what the console is 6 months before the expected release of it, I have to put it off for financial reasons. I apologise that I may seem somewhat whiny, but my reasoning behind wanting to know what the details of the console is purely financial. But yeah, LEGO Dimensions would be great.

Crash Bandicoot and/or Spyro

I'm giving a strange amount of love to Playstation today, because I'd love to see their most beloved mascots make an appearance on the NX. While there are the Crash remasters arriving early next year and Crash making an appearance on the Wii U as a Skylander in this year's Skylanders Imaginators, I believe it has been almost confirmed that we will see some new, original Crash games after the remasters. The Crash remasters may be Playstation exclusives, but there's nothing to say that what comes after that could be multiplatform releases. We've seen it before with the, well, not so great Crash of the Titans and Mind over Mutant, so we can cross our fingers that the new Crash games will arrive on the NX, even if it means compromising for a Playstation timed exclusive.

Spyro on the other hand, is a more complicated case. Both Crash and Spyro are currently owned by Activision, who also produce the Skylanders series. To give the Skylanders series a kickstart, Activision made Spyro the main character of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, the first game in the series. Admittedly, this is what drew me into the series, which I still play to this day. However, since Spyro's appearance in Skylanders, he hasn't made a single solo outing. Spyro didn't make an appearance in the previous Skylanders game, Skylanders Superchargers, while he is an NPC character in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators, with a whole level centred around him. Rather than a single level devoted to Spyro, I'd love to see a brand new Spyro game. Of course, they'd have to keep his somewhat pug-like character design, but it would be the Spyro we know and love. And if they didn't want to make him completely cut ties with the Skylanders series, they could allow the Portal of Power to be used to give Spyro particular upgrades, health powerups, and so forth within the levels.

Main Series Pokemon Title

I have been playing Pokemon since RSE and still love the series to this day. While I haven't been watching the anime since Battle Frontier, I've kept with all the news surrounding it too. Assuming the NX will be the home console / handheld hybrid thingamabob, it seems more than likely that a main series Pokemon title will end up on the platform. However, I would expect the first main series Pokemon title to show up on the NX to be the remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, since I doubt they would start a whole new Pokemon generation right after one has just been made. I also suspect that it will be at least 2 years into the NX's lifecycle before we see a main series Pokemon title appear on it, considering how long the development of Pokemon Sun and Moon has taken. I would love to see how the hybrid gimmick of the console would be implemented into the game, perhaps the ability to store some Pokemon at home while taking others on the go? Either way, a main series Pokemon title showing up on the NX would make me buy the console immediately.

A new Scribblenauts title

Earlier this year we received the sad new that Scribblenauts: Fighting Words had been cancelled, and that over 40 members of staff at 5th Cell had been laid off. Scribblenauts is one of my favourite video games series ever, and that isn't an exaggeration, so it was sad to hear that a new game in the series had been cancelled. While previous titles have had their fair share of trouble getting onto Nintendo consoles (Scribblenauts Unlimited was meant to be a Wii U launch title, before being delayed until Feb 2013, before being delayed again until November the same year), I believe that they are a perfect fit for Nintendo consoles. They use the touch screen to type and move objects around, are very kid friendly, and have a wonderful cartoon aesthetic. The Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited even had exclusive Nintendo characters and items not found on the PC version. Therefore, I feel as though a new Scribblenauts game for the NX would be a perfect fit, and would make the NX a day one purchase for myself.

actually if you want a list of AAA 3rd party games that would help me buy NX, probably nothing will top Beyond Good and Evil. However, the combination of both the new Mass Effect and Red Dead games would maybe be close! Hopefully add a new Bioshock to that list too!

Shenmue 3...I would buy anything for that game! I know it's meant to come out on PS4 and XBOne but there's still a part of me that hopes for a Nintendo release!

The only reason I bought the WIIU console, was to play MH TRI; and so. I will only buy the Switch if a new Monster Hunter game is released for the Switch.
