Topic: Horrible Mistake (sold Redds painting at Nooks and cant start museum up)

As the title implies, I mistakenly sold the painting needed to upgrade my museum. I already tried time traveling and it does not work, the painting also appears in my Resident Services but as a not for sale item. What can I do? do I have to delete everything and star from scratch

In an attempt to fix my awful mistake I deleted the update from my switch and the only thing that happened is that half my fruits re-spawned, as well as all the four fossils. Redd was not on the island but Blathers keeps saying that he will wait for art donations, Leigh or the flower and bushes guy still remembers my name so I will listen to your advice and wait for Redd to visit again. I really don’t want to future time travel since I have all my savings invested in turnips ...
