Is it weird that we're going to have more Megadrive games than SNES games on Switch? I was a Sega kid, so I actually know a lot of these games better than Nintendo titles. I was kind of hoping, when I got my Switch at launch, that I'd be knee-deep in Link to the Past, Super Metroid etc by now. Still, I guess Sega still does what Nintendon't.
Good. Hopefully this means that SEGA Ages focuses on games not on this collection (yeah I know they’d be enhanced but I’ll take quantity over quality personally, especially for this price).
I don't think that SEGA's games are of a good enough quality (generally speaking) to justify such a high price tag for a single game, so I too would prefer a bargain-priced collection such as this.
I hope they issue compilations covering their other consoles too.
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
If Nintendo aren't going to do VC again for fear of hurting indie sales on the eshop then maybe a separate physical compilations like this for NES, SNES, N64, GBC and GBA is the way to go. Admittedly the last two are unlikely as a GBC/GBA mini would allow you to have portable classics without having to take your Switch out and about.
I have the Sonic Genesis Collection on PS3, so I thought either I wouldn't need this or I could sell that one and get this. Then I looked up and compared the games list of the two compilations. Those Sega jerks made just enough good exclusives to either one that now I want both.
