@JFroggo Christ, have you tried updating the dongle? I wonder if updating your Xbox controller when it was connected to the Xbox made it incompatible in some way but I wouldn't know for sure. Really sorry to hear it didn't work out for you either way.

Have you popped over to PureXbox by any chance? I believe it's a sister site to Nintendo Life and Push Square so you can log in with the same credentials and use the forums over there as well!

Try 8bitdo SN30Pro+ controller, which is fantastic...
With their "Ultimate Software", it can remap the analog triggers ZR and ZL to right joystick up and down.
Which is supported in most of the racing games.... then you have analog accelerate and break ：）

I'm using it with WRC and Trials rising, works perfectly!!!

@JFroggo I know you said you were having issues and had bought an Xbox anyway but I was able to download the 'Ultimate Software' from 8bitdo for the wireless adapter which lets you do similar stuff as @bbdam has mentioned with the SN30Pro+. Seems to suggest you can do it with a wide range of controllers including Xbox One S/X.
