Simple enough. I'm not one for port-begging, but the Switch's portability does put things into perspective. My own picks:
Final Fantasy XII HD: The Zodiac Age: Square didn't care at all about re-releasing FFXII until recently, for some reason, but they did produce a budget sequel on the DS. The cast of XII is similar to the cast of VII in that they have been featured in some of the Final Fantasy spin-offs for Nintendo consoles, yet Nintendo-only gamers have never played the original game. Out of all the PS2 and PS3 FF titles, I believe this one to be the better fit for the Nintendo audience.
Okami HD: A very Japanese Zelda-like adventure game that was already available on the Wii and, like FFXII, had a sequel on the DS, now remastered for current gen systems. If Capcom has a game that suits the system better, overpriced Street Fighter II ports and Japan-only Monster Hunter entries notwithstanding, I don't know of it.
Darksiders III: Same as above. THQ Nordic did mention the reasoning behind porting Warmastered to the Wii U was to build a stronger relationship with Nintendo's userbase, so I can't see why the third title in the series shouldn't make it to the Switch. All the more so considering that the two previous games are on Wii U and the Switch supports UE4.
GTA V: It would sell. It's still selling. I can't believe this hasn't been announced already.
There's more (lots more), but these are the ones with a stronger case, in my opinion. Try to go easy on Capcom.
FFXII has always been a PlayStation only product. Same with FFX and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I dont see those ever coming to Switch. Just play them on a PS4.
And comparing VII's cast to XII is laughable and not very informed regarding the FF series. Spinoffs winoffs.... the casts are completely different. Cloud amd Sephiroth and Aeris are legendary compared to Vaan and the rabbit chick. Lol smh
But Okami HD deserves to be on Switch with pointer controls for sure.
Personally I'd like to see a Borderlands 2 port or maybe a new Rune Factory game for console, even though Neverland is no more. Maybe even an HD port of Frontier would be nice.
@Samus7Killer That's kind of the point though. Something is "[platform] only" until it isn't. Darksiders is a good example of that. Besides that, your thoughts of the cast aside, their situation is similar. Not saying one entry is better than the other.
@Xaldin Didn't see that thread before, to be honest. That said, the point is to list games that look like they're able to run on the system and are "well-suited" for the platform. I don't think Overwatch is a realistic or adequate pick, for example, yet it's on many people's wishlist.
I'd like to see the Assassins Creed games come over as well as the current Tomb Raider games. I have been out of the gaming scene since around 2009, so there are SOOO many games I would like to see that are more than doable.

@Gorbash333 If you're talking about the latest Assassin's Creed, I'm not sure how doable it is. The game seems to be expansive enough to be difficult to port without severe downgrades.
It's a tougher call with the Tomb Raider games. While they're definitely doable (RotTR is available on 7th gen consoles, even), would you consider them a good fit for the system? On one hand, it's an action-adventure game and the series has a decent history on Nintendo. On the other, they're one of those "cinematic" experiences that Nintendo fans seem to loathe. Can't see the games benefiting a lot from portability either.
@MarcelRguez I was referring to past AC games. Not to say that the new one isn't in the cards, but it's definitely a game that would require a lot of power, i'll leave that question to the Nintendo and the Devs.
As for TR, I grew up a Sega and Playstation fan, and I'm pretty new to Nintendo as a, now, big fan. That being said, you make a good point, but I do think there's also something to be said about the Bethesda games that are being brought over. If Wolfenstein II does well then I think (hope) that we could see something like this.
This might also bring up the conversation of do games with long cinematic sequences work in a portable setting. Definitely room for debate here, as you aren't restricted to portable (oh how I love the Switch).

Be yourself, no matter who you are!
For me, that's being madly in love with fictional characters. Plz don't judge.
Yes, my first anime was High School DxD. Don't ask or judge!

@Samus7Killer@Andrew_R_2000 One of the things holding back Overwatch on the Switch is a proper voice chat system, at least that's what Blizzard has said in the past.

yeah i remember that quote... id quit all other gaming for a year and just play OverWatch on Switch for an entire year if it happened. I'd even quit these boards for 1 year.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (well, actually...bundle it with the first one and call it "Mega Man Legacy Collection DX...I guess...along with Rockman & Forte")
These are the games should be on Switch :
1. World of Final Fantasy (from PS4)
2. Final Fantasy XII : The Zodiac Age (from PS4)
3. Fantasy Life 2 (from IOs)
4. Final Fantasy IX (from IOs)
5. Final Fantasy Tactics (from IOs)
6. Yonder : The Cloud Catcher Chronicles (from PS4)
7. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (from PS4)
8. Gitadora (from IOs)
9. Dance Dance Revolution Ace (Arcade)
10. Mario Kart GP DX 2014 (Arcade)
Bioshock Trilogy (I would probably rebuy these games for all eternity).
Hyper Light Drifter
Resident Evil 4
Assasins Creed - Ezio's trilogy.
The Witness
Fallout 4
These are all games I think could run well on the Switch and would suit my personal tastes or I would love in handheld format.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
