I want 6-8 player local multiplayer. I see no reason why they should limit the number of local players to just 4 as per the other platforms. The Switch version is even utilising its own engine, after all.
Here's some off screen footage.Look at the sponsor boards
Hard to really tell how much of an improvement it is here but I've read comments from 3 different folk who've played it and they all say it looks really good. With it having the Champions League license ,better graphics, improved gameplay and most of all online play with friends,19 should feel like a pretty big upgrade. I used to hate it in the past when I bought a new FIFA and it felt like I was playing exactly the same game as the previous year.
Lets be honest. Lasts years effort was a pretty solid last gen port port (improved but still a port). This years effort will include the time and effort to make the game we wanted. Iโm sure there will be plenty of frostbit only features some will want though.
Heard everything I needed to hear to - I'm assuming that it'll probably follow a similar discount schedule to FIFA 18, so I'll likely pick it up at the first price drop
Stoked we are getting FIFA '19. Approaching 200hrs played on FIFA '18 (my most played Switch game by far) and I only picked it up 4 months ago.
However, I really, really want the online versus friends functionality to be far more than simply a friendly match: I want leagues and cup tournaments.

Hoping we get the pa guy sounding more country based instead of one universal pa guy saying only two things subs and added time. One disappointing aspect was that switch got the short end when it came to commentary
Yes itโs different when you own both you notice differences like you know the pa guy he only has two events where he speaks and you dont get commentary in some spots and the worst offender is the different goal screen it donโt appear until just before post goal kickoff and it donโt tell ya how many goals a guy had and you donโt see the manager AT ALL on switch
@mcaceres : My guess is that we will need to wait until Tuesday (when the Champions Edition is released).
I have a better feeling about the Switch version being supported this year (as EA were probably more cautious in case FIFA 18 flopped), but there may be other technical reasons hindering its inclusion. We will find out soon enough.
I really hope so, I have a lot of hope for fifa 19 on switch. Last year was decent, I played like 500 hours and still enjoyed it. Still, I would love more support like the web app, companion app, daily challenges, weekend leagues, or at least something else. I don't really care about the Journey mode to be honest. Cheers.
