During the Gamecube and Wii Era 3rd Parties would bring some games to Xbox, Playstation 2 and Gamecube (like TimeSplitters). or Sometimes some games skips the Wii or Gamecube (like Star Wars Battlefront) so what you think? well NX get all 3rd Party Games like Xbox and Playstation does, or well they get some as Gamecube and Wii did.
edit: there are other games that came to just PS3 and XB360 and not Wii. (i'm sorry that i didnt gave any exemples for last Gen games, they where the only game i quickly knew in my head)

It's difficult to say at this stage, but I think the best they can achieve is GameCube levels of 3rd party support. If they play their cards right, I think they can receive:
-Japanese published multiplats
-Western mainstream titles and franchises
-3rd party exclusives and collaborations
At best they'll get the Japanese multiplats, the annuals from western devs (CoD, Fifa, Madden, Skylanders, etc), and some 3rd party exclusives that happen via collaboration. Oh, and increased indie support.
Maybe if Nintendo steps up it's support for online play. I prefer
Although I don't care about having all the third party titles, I do want Nintendo to step up their online support.
Same here, I just don't want it to come with a subscription fee
I'd expect a subscription, considering every other form of online service requires one. And if paying a bit every month will bring me this generation level online support, I'm willing to pay.

I would rather not have a fee. Subscription fees rarely go into making the service better. When I had an Xbox all the subscription money went into getting useless apps like ESPN. Playstation Plus fees are going towards the "free games." I don't want those things. I want to be able to play online with my friends and be able to have a group chat. That is really all I want. If that is locked behind a fee then I can't see myself paying for it and just continue to play online on PC instead.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

That's my problem with PS+ as well. I know that it isn't much on a monthly basis, but €50 every year is going to make my system a whole lot more expensive, just for online play. I don't care about the free games that come with PS+ every month, as my spare time is limited and I already have a huge backlog. I wish there was at least a cheaper option that didn't come with all the PS+ extras and only enabled me to play online.
Depends how close to the other consoles the NX is. If it's indistinguishable by the Xbox One and PS4 on a hardware level, then it'll get most of them. If it requires any work from third parties... it'll get about as much support as the Wii U, because they're lazy and don't like working for Nintendo platforms.
They'll definitely get third-party support at the outset (just like they did with the Wii U, all nitpicking aside), but then sales numbers will be the only thing that determines if they'll continue to get it. Simple as that. If we see a repeat of the Wii U's numbers, we'll see a repeat in terms of third-party support.
Shocking.
Also, some of you were discussing an online service fee. I'd happily pay an annual fee equivalent to PSPlus/Live if it means supporting my hobby and getting nice perks (free games monthly, slicker party/chatting features, early/exclusive access to free-to-play games like Smite on XboxOne, etc.) I can see how it would be a tough sell for younger gamers who would have to convince parents to pay the fee, but as an adult with some disposable income (keyword: "some" - ha!), it's a choice I'd be more than happy to take up.

Exactly.
In its own statements (via Mr. Iwata), Nintendo has emphasized that the NX will be a unified platform in order to help eliminate the release schedule gaps that have characterized many of their modern systems. Today, these gaps exist because the load is entirely shouldered by Nintendo, its close development partners, and indie devs. Ninty's solution is to unify various platforms so that they're not splitting their efforts between, say, a Wii U and a 3DS. To my knowledge, they've not indicated that actively bolstering third-party support is an integral part of this solution (apart from indies; we can assume that Nintendo's not going to suddenly curb their ever-increasing support there). Nintendo wants a platform that, worst-case scenario, they can keep afloat entirely on their own.
Putting out a power-matched console and courting major third parties with lots of money would simply result in homogeneity — if mega-budget third-party titles are your thing, there are already two very competitive consoles on offer to answer that need. Nintendo's not going to turn those twins into triplets, I can guarantee you that.
Will the company court third parties more aggressively than they have this generation? Maybe. Will there be a surge in third-party support at launch? Probably. But at the end of the day, I reckon Nintendo's stance lines up with @rallydefault's statement — if the NX sells, they will come.
It really depends on what the NX is. There is a lot of good 3rd party support for the 3DS, so while the Wii U has struggled, it's not like Nintendo doesn't have a stable of good 3rd party games. (Yo-kai Watch, Bravely series, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Monster Hunter, SMT, Dragon Quest Monsters)
Currently Playing: SMITE, ROTTR, Halo 5: Guardians (XB1), Xenoblade Chronicles X (WiiU), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 2 (3DS)
1. Whether it's a home console or a handheld.
Unless it's a really powerful handheld, I don't think it'll get the third party games you're thinking of. I mean, yeah, the Vita got a few here and there, but I've never heard anything particularly good about home console to Vita ports. Haven't played the games myself, but...yeah. If it's a home console, it'll depend on the other two factors.
2. If it sells.
Power ultimately doesn't matter if everyone and their grandma has the system. Sure, there will be games that just won't be able to run on the thing and developers will go where they can properly craft their game, but look at the Wii. Who didn't have one of those? And look at all the third party support it got! Heck, I think it got every Call of Duty from 3 to Modern Warfare 3, spin-offs from other game series (like Dead Space), and ALL the shovelware. If the NX is slightly less powerful than the Xbox One, but sells like hotcakes, you bet EA, Ubisoft, and the other big third parties will work to optimize the game to try and cash in on that.
3. If it's powerful.
This is a silly thing to say, but...it's gotta be said. Now, personally, power really doesn't matter THAT MUCH. And it's not like the Wii U was THAT underpowered or anything (I mean, look...we're STILL getting cross-gen releases, but no Wii U support), but if the NX is a powerful home console, I don't see it getting turned aside. Of course, it'd have to not only be powerful, but also have a similar controller to PlayStation and Xbox (goodbye GamePad and Wiimotes) and a similar architecture (for easy porting).
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
People need to stop talking about the NX as if it's going to be competing against the PS4 and XBOne. Even if we assume it's a home console there's no guarantee that it's a 2016 release. If it's a 2017 product we're 4 years into the life of the PS4 by the time this thing comes out. In 2018 the NX, whatever it is, will just be ramping up but by then be waiting for the imminent release of the PS5.
Nintendo's next home console won't be competing against the PS4 and XBOne. That is almost certainty what it's going to be up against initially but most of its life will be firmly in the "next generation" of consoles. I really don't think Nintendo can release a console in 2016/17 and have a good 3-5 years before the competition resets.
The only third party I would expect to be there at this point is Square Enix. There are quite a few deals and games going on between Ninty and Squeenix so it wouldn't surprise me. Anything else though is a complete guess.
