Not to get political but

With the tariff issues with China is it unreasonable to expect a price increase on the switch and its accessories?

I assume Nintendo is going to eat the additional costs. The Switch is successful enough for Nintendo to consider not passing that cost to consumers. That, or the upcoming Switch Mini/Lite might arrive with an msrp that's higher than originally intended. The original Switch won't receive a price increase.

If anything, US retailers may just offer fewer deals for a bit. Extra costs aren’t an immediate thing generally on goods like this.

Yea you might see place like Amazon and Walmart raise their prices on the already lowered Nintendo games. AKA not $49.99 like they are now but raised to $54.99 or something like that, but i don't see anyone raising the prices over the MSRP of $59.99. Now if the tariffs are still in affect when the next gen systems/games come around that could be a different story.

My wife just showed me an article where consoles are included on the tariff hike.

Really hope Nintendo is willing to eat the cost.
