Topic: Animal Crossing Save File Transfer

I hope someone can help me, I can't find a definitive answer online

I am getting animal crossing tomorrow, and I will start my island on my current switch console, which I want to sell in place of the coral pink one that comes out in a month. (UK)

Can I transfer the save along with my whole profile over to the new console? I dont want to have to start again after a month and I dont want to wait a month to start playing it

@SwitchForce does it work for AC though? I asked a chat person on the nintendo store and he kept saying its not possible but I dont think he understood my question

If I were you, you should just wait to get the Coral Lite. I know it's going to be hard, but like @Eel said, the feature isn't even out yet. It would be best to wait, get the Coral and then buy New Horizons, that way you can also save your usage of the save file transfer, which I believe is only limited to one.
