@Anti-Matter My entire island is covered....I have no empty space whatsoever! So it makes it hard for me to find a starting point. I go through this quite often and it drives me nuts. Lol Just feel like if I had a clean slate, it would be so nice to just go at a much more leisurely pace vs trying to keep up with others like when it was first released. I probably won't restart...but then again I know if I do, I have some amazing friends who will hook me up with building my catalog back up and getting diys (:

@foxyflimflam I thought about it 10 days after getting the museum... And I do wish I could change where resident services is but there’s NO WAY I could restart now. Agony. Noooo. I just keep changing the island via terraforming/seasonal items... Don’t do it.

@BrittGOAL14 It doesnt help that I spent the last hour reading articles where ppl who sunk in hundreds of hours restarted and said it was an amazing feeling after the initial shock of not having all the things they got use to having! See, its reasons such as these they should have allowed multiple save files!!!

@foxyflimflam Nothing's wrong, you have just hit a point where you're not sure what to do next, and have limited space to work with at the moment.

Just relax, and let the ideas come naturally. I didn't know what to do after my cataloging area, so that's when I had the inspiration to make the board game.

Make the island you want to make, and don't try to "keep up" with anyone. (>^_^)>

@FattyWhale_42 I think thats my main problem....I am not sure where to start in terms of redoing my island. I guess just start picking up all the "items" and dropping them on one side!? Ugh....I infuriate myself. Lol I appreciate the pep talk and positive reinforcement!

@foxyflimflam Agree with the save file thing for sure. I get that way a little bit after visiting other people but by now I’ve accepted my lack of creativeness for what it is. 😂 The terraforming and being able to move buildings helps.

@foxyflimflam I will say, if you really want to start with a clean slate, move all the buildings to the beaches, and flatten everything to one level. You'll still keep a ton of the most time-consuming things, while being able to start fresh.

It's like if you're making a painting and you don't like the way it's going, you don't throw away your art supplies too, you just paint over the old one. (>^_^)>

Since @FattyWhale_42 already saved you with his wise statements I can only support there is nothing more to say. I WOULD have said that I investigated in this matter too and after watching some videos I can say the only reason too restart is when you’re not happy with the position of your rivers and such things. A very small reason if you ask me. Since I’ve seen your island I have no doubt you have the creativity too reshape the island the way you want. There is no pressure to rush it. Just start at one point where you have a new idea and go on from there. That’s how I do it. My island is in constant change and I think in some way this is how the game is intended to be played with the focus on community and getting new ideas from visiting each other and from social media. Don’t fall for the idea your island has to be like the one from somebody else.

Also what’s with wisp? A have no issues with him. I even built a graveyard for him

Do you have graveyard items from catalogue ?
I need two different tombstones from your catalogue if you have (Normal tombstone, Japanese style tombstone)
Also, do you have White Anthurium ?
Mine is Red color Anthurium in White pot.
