@Ronniego YES!!! I had 6 seconds and it seemed like it took forever to reel in that last fish. Wound up putting the two toy bugs from the Bug Off in storage because it kept freaking me out. Doubt I could have a scorpion model... So much worse than the tarantulas.

@BrittGOAL14 I ran into two scorpions last night. They seem to be...more aggressive than tarantulas. I tried catching them for the museum, but both of them knocked me out!

When either the scorpion or tarantula raises its claws and hisses at you, DON’T MOVE! Once it lowers them to the ground “ready your net” by holding down the A button, then slowly move one step closer to it each time it lowers its claws. When you feel you are close enough to snag it, let go of the A button.
You’ll start snagging them up like crazy!

“CUSTOMIZED ITEMS-GOLD LEAF vs GREEN LEAF”

So this happened!

Due to the 50 slot limit (sounds like a lot, but definitely is not enough since you can’t delete the design without it removing the design from your island) we have to store Custom Designs, I found some designs I wanted to use to customize a bunch of Simple Panels for my new ArcadeDiner area I’ve been working on. Not having enough open slots for the number of custom designs I wanted to use, my nephew ended up saving the designs and customized the simple panels for me. Come to learn the hard way, he cannot send the customized simple panels to me, or even “drop” them on his or my island, he can only “ place” them on his island.

QUESTION: when it comes to item customization, does anyone know why only handful of items when customized their LEAF COLOR CHANGES TO GOLD, when with the majority of items, their LEAF REMAINS GREEN which can be sent to other players? UGH!

So FYI everyone, you CANNOT SEND anyone a GOLD LEAF customized item. However, I also learned that if you customize the gold leaf item back to its original form, it reverts back to a GREEN LEAF and then you can send it to a friend. F#%€ m¥ £%@#

So does gold mean its linked to your custom spot image that's why you can't send the item? 50 spots is limiting hopefully they can increase them in the future.

My last villager search led me to scorpion island. Wade was there, not caring for anything around him. Just getting to him I got stung twice. You really can't see these little black devils between the flowers. Left without the villager, but a pocket full of scorpions
In the end I went with Cube as mi new villager.
