Finally got my companion guide in the mail after months of delays!!! Even though I don't see me using it as much as I prob would have when the game first came out, its still cool to have! (: There is just something about having a physical guide vs using the internet for everything that gets me excited 😝

I got mine about a month ago. It's a very nice guide. It's cool to have a lot of the character info available.

@k8sMum They kept delaying it over and over again, to the point where I really didn't think I would ever get it! Its already come in handy when wanting to see what furniture pieces are customizable and tracking diy recipes (:

@foxyflimflam Seems like if you were going to use the "DIY Master List" you wouldn't need to write them all out beforehand, since the list is for tracking what you need.

And as far as editing it, it's open (why it's a secret list), so you can edit it at any time — no need to sign-in, or anything. Just put your name at the top, and an X for every DIY you need. (>^_^)>

@FattyWhale_42 So my brain retains info better if I write it out first.....that and in the off chance I end up not having the time to add to the master list with life being so crazy, I still have the written list to go off of (: I used my guide to be able to pinpoint exactly what I need which was super helpful!

I agree, the mystery islands aren’t that much of a mystery once you learn the only fruit you may possibly see is your native fruit and your natives fruit’ sister fruit. For me, peaches are my native and pears are my sister fruit, the same goes for flowers.

To the Southerners here.
How do you feel about an event purely advertised as a Summer event?
Do you think we'll be able to swim in winter or have to wait 6 months for the privelage?

@the8thark I’m in the Southern Hemisphere, and that’s that’s what I’m worried about too. It looks like a great update, but it’s a summer update specifically. This makes me wonder... what’ll happen with southerners? I think that we will get the update and be able to dive in winter, but what I also think is that the wave two update coming in August will be a winter update, maybe adding Brewster to warm up with his drinks.

Finally decided to take some time and work on my island last night, and finally got it up to 4 stars. Isabelle still says it needs more furniture, which is crazy because I put out a ton. Just want to get it up to 5 stars before mushroom season starts, so I've got time.

@FattyWhale_42 can I visit for some diys? New island is back up.

There are so many games to play and all of a sudden I realized animal crossing is good fun but it's not getting me anywhere. At least not when you play it on your own.

My wife picked the perfect weekend to go out of town, so she wasn't here to see how long I spent doing the Bug Off. But at least I got to 300 points, got all the prizes that I will never use because I hate bugs, and never have to do it again.

My brother gave our Mom his Switch so she can play. They’re sharing an island. Is it possible for her character to build bridges/inclines or will she have to do it through his profile?

Quoting because I still need answers. Will update catalog/DIYs tomorrow. Things have been crazy.

I share my island with my wife and son. I am the only one who can build the bridges and inclines since I have the main account. Your Mom will have to use your brothers account for them.
