@Gret8888 i'm waiting till i finish breeding flowers before moving rocks. I got blue roses from you but want to breed them myself too, i look forward to checking each morning to see if i have made progress. Using Paleh method, got my first orange rose yesterday. hopefully reds will follow soon and then the blues (:

@ReikoMortis you have mannequins. Choose a custom design empty slot and when you choose place here, it gives you painting or mannequin option.

He might mean mannequins, as they appear in the Able sisters' shop - ones you can dress with tops, hats accessories and bottoms. I'd like to know this too.

They appeared in New Leaf, but you were only able to place four of them at any one time.

Obtaining mannequins in ACNH is completely different than ACNL. Don’t compare the two games because they are very different in many ways.

Please allow me to explain the mannequin process for ACNH:
1. Open your Nook phone
2. Open the custom designs app
3. Click on any block
4. Click on DISPLAY HERE
5. Click on MANNEQUIN
6. BOOM! There’s your mannequin
You could even display the block as a painting. Either will work.

I also used that method, however I was unsuccessful when crossing a purple rose with a yellow rose seed. I kept getting a white rose instead of a yellow rose. According to his breeding guide, my stockpile of purple roses were not capable of producing blue roses. 😞

It wasn't me who restarted my game, it was AndyD - I just don't think we had the chance to visit each other since becoming friends!

Sorry I missed this last night but I had gone to bed, I've got to be awake early for work so try to get to sleep by 10:30pm if I can (not always easy!)
