anyone getting a bit burnt out on AC...i log in do my 20 minutes of stuff in the morning and leave...not much incentive to do anything else.
I'm not burned out as such as I love the game but sometimes the same tasks can get tiresome for me, that's when I know to put it down until later. Its been a real haven for me and an escapism, plus all of you lovely people on this forum have made it so much more enjoyable too. I suffer with depression so the game does help but at the same time, if I'm in the wrong frame of mind, it can become a grind to keep doing the same thing.
I'm trying to get some of my other games played too. I'm into Zelda BoTW at the moment as well so try to vary my game play between that and AC. Also love Mario Maker 2 and feel a bit guilty that its getting cast aside because of AC. Got to finish Luigi's Mansion 3 as well. I have so many excellent games and so little time!
@BrittGOAL14 for ages I thought the only way to get art was by Redd. But no! Today i checked my post and a villager sent me a present! I opened it to reveal a fake ancient statue! (The one that floats and glows).
@Sugarkist
Same. I finished Luigi’s Mansion then purchased the expansion packs but their release date is ridiculous. I was really into Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle before ACNH was released, haven’t played it since. What drives me about playing ACNH is creating and recreating my island. I’ve rearranged my entire island multiple times already. I feel like the more items I catalog and DIY’s I obtain, it spawns new island ideas in my brain.

My turnip prices are 512 bells. My gates are open for a little while longer for now and I'll open then later If need be. It's almost 7pm my time right now.
@AndyD I'm not quite burnt out. I am tired of my daily routine (which takes hours). I'd like to spend more time visiting other islands to explore, visit Nooks and Able Sisters for shopping, find DIYs, etc. However, after I complete all of my daily stuff on my island there's not much time to do anything else. I did add in a couple of Mystery Islands today, to restock on Weeds, but didn't get to explore any player islands and add to my Catalog. I'm still very interested in finding more furniture series, especially Regal, Princess, and some of the Gracie Grace sets (from previous Animal Crossing games).
I hope your zest for AC: NH returns.
Have a good day,
Linda (Shepherd's Aunt)
