I don’t have that DIY yet.
When I can get on again, I’ll make a list of extra recipes I have. I just started holding onto them so I only have a few.

And if you want to make a list, @Lard_Bucket made a great template that everybody should use (he did 95% of the work so you don't have to). (>^_^)>

@Munson I made this template to use as a starting point for a DIY wishlist. Copy the spreadsheet, sort your in-game DIY alphabetically, and delete rows for the items you can craft. You'll create a nice list that can be linked in your signature so others can see what you need when they get extras.

Thanks, My son is on trying to catch a golden trout. So far, he has used about 250 bait with no luck. I might have to wait another day.

I was incredibly lucky with the golden trout, I didn’t need to use fish bait! The golden trout was just waiting for me in the river. Hopefully he catches one soon 🤞

He was really frustrated. But, he went to another island and managed to make a scorpion island and he’s happy now. Unfortunately, that means I won’t be able to play the rest of the night.

@Munson The real scorpion island is a nightmare. There are usually 3 to 4 on top of each other making it very hard to catch them without getting taken out.

I never had the real tarantula/scorpion island, but the one my son made is incredibly slow to spawn the scorpions. He has only caught 8 so far.

awoke to find a second gold rose on my island. went to see Isabelle who told me I have 5 star rating, got me a golden watering can. I added a few bridges and inclines in the last few days which must have boosted my rating (:
she also told me that I will have shooting stars tonight.

Congrats! It must feel so good to get a 5 star rating, mine will be a lot of work yet! I'm currently collecting enough bells to move my villagers houses, done 3 so far therefore have 5 to go. Trouble with me is I don't know where to start sometimes for building things up and making it look good.

Anyway folks, I've changed my screen name from Pink_Yoshi and my avatar too. Just so you know its me but it should be obvious from my new name as its the name of my island!

It is actually possible to have an ugly 5 star rating island. Isabelle's rating will constantly be updated. When I first reach 5 star rating I did not have enough stuff that I wanted outside but had to have more outside furniture and fences. I put single fence segments and wooden-block toy directly behind things to make them less visible. The 2 main issues I ran into when trying to maintain 5 star rating is that if you drop about 10 items on the ground you get knocked down to 4 star and trees do not count as trees unless they are fully grown.
