@StoneyUSMC Currently in Northern Hemisphere Great trevally and Mahi-mahi can be caught at the Pier with a low chance. River (clifftop) can have Cherry salmon, Char, and Golden trout. No fish specific to River (mouth) are in season at the moment.
I suggest referring to the wiki if you are having trouble getting the fish.

I’m happy this game isn’t too picky. I just got my 5 star rating and I am certain it’s because I have over 120 bugs waiting for flick all over the place... and I did have to level a third of my trees. But still the gold watering can is mine!!!

I didn’t get any wishes. I was excited to finally have oranges and peaches. I wanted to plant them. That was the first time I got to visit someone. I wasn’t quite sure how long of a stay was appropriate.
